N-scale ASF's?
« on: 07 April 2011, 14:55:05 »
Other than the 1/144 Crusher Joe Harpy, are there any other canon birds in N-scale? All I've seen are Vtols in the DA line but I admit I haven't dug through everything.

I have some that look ASF.  I have the Stingray in my photobucket account.  Other than Macross, that's it.
And that's about it.

Other N-scales would be from other anime that Battletech didn't get.  Starblazers, and other models based on shooter games that Spaceman (and I) have.

Now you have to share where you got those.  I've been looking for the CJ Harpy for about 2 years in that scale.  I was about to commission Spaceman or Orko_one to get one.  Email or PM me Sigma.  I must have one for myself.

Sorry for the confusion folks. These are not mine, just a picture I pulled as an example. The only one of these guys I could find for sale is the Fighter 1 in blue. Did find a Yellowsub Archer though so that kind of made up for it.

The models are a little bigger than my VF-1 gashapons though. But they are real 1/144.

The only CJ kits I have are the 1/32 Locust and the Battletech-packaged Minerva/Leopard with the 2 extra N-scale mechs.

Owen, if you happen to find a spare of one of these. Let me know! I'll do the same for you.

In other news I would also like to know where to get one of these fine 1/144 Vipers before I go bidding on the Titanium guys. I could sub that sucker for a Corsair in a heartbeat.

You mean the BSG Vipers?  I thought I had two in resin.  1 MIB the other out.  Took me a minute to find the photo (on a MW base for size).  Is this what you are looking for?

I'd contact the sculptor and ask for more info.  There is brief mention of the kit on starshipmodeler.com but I don't see any for-sale advertising.

You wouldn't have the name of the set these came from do you?
Searching for Crusher Joe seams to be the long way to find / score these old toys.

Called the "Mini Crusher Joe" Series by Takara. I'll pm you the locale of a fighter kit I found (not the harpy unfortunately).
