Miniatures of the Fortnight #163: Battle Hawk and Dart

In the years immediately following the Clan Invasion, the Federated Commonwealth found itself needing BattleMechs - a lot of BattleMechs, including light 'Mechs. To help fill this gap, two Lyran firms, Defiance Insustries and Coventry Metal Works offered the Battle Hawk and Dart respectively. The Battle Hawk is a slower-than-usual light 'Mech that might fit with a heavy cavalry lance and the Dart is a quick recon 'Mech that relies on speed to survive. Both of these miniatures have had two metal sculpts. For the Battle Hawk:

• The original sculpt in a very static pose (20-649).
• The resculpt with a more dynamic pose (20-419).

For the Dart:

• The original sculpt (20-668).
• The resculpt (20-439).

4 Battle Hawks.  1 is the OG version.  Last is the 306 version

3 Darts.  One is the 6S version.

Funny story, when I was collecting them for the shots, I grabbed 3 Fireballs from the lances they were part of, and was about to go for a 4th when I realized it was the wrong mech.  I guess when I made up the lances, I had them in the same lances due to speed.
