yeah.....i shouldn't have to introduce this bounty hunter to anybody. he doesn't have a lime green madcat, either. he doesn't need one!

what you see here, folks, is a super rare, 1:144 scale resin cast of a Firespray patrol craft, made famous by everybody's favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett. this kit was made by Anigrand Models until Lucas slapped them with a C & D several years ago. long have i scoured the internet for one of these kits. i finally found one- price be damned! the kit was well worth the price- no bubbles, no warping, and the finest detail i have seen in a resin casting.
i decided to paint her as close to the Slave 1 colors as i could, plus i added some decals for a bit extra detail. the turret guns swivel as well as the maneuvering fins. i am currently looking for the right infantry model to create her famous pilot. another awesome thing about the kit is that it included 2 other models- a TIE bomber and a heavy TIE bomber, which will be posted as soon as i can finish them.

the cargo vehicles came with the large mech bays you see in the far background. i have modified them slightly, though. the tanker is a kit bash of a MW recovery vehicle and a GI Joe aqua lung. the madcat is a....madcat.

absolutely! the quality level with this kit was simply fantastic. i'm going to have to look into some of their legal kits now. i recently discovered their 1:144 Firefox kit.....

Word on the RPF is that the molds of the Anigrand folks are still around and that some limited run castings are still available from the right people.

Or so I've heard about their infamous Star Destroyer kit anyhow.

i'd have to sell a car to afford their star destroyer kit. i do not think i can make that kind of sacrifice. maybe i can sell one of my numerous first-borns that this thread created. }:)
i have seen the imperial transport shuttle- Chiss clawcraft- TIE defender kit pop up though. the problem there is i already have an imperial shuttle model and i can get TIE defender minis from the Star Wars titanium series. i'm not very fond of the clawcraft, either.

sorry, LordNth, the missile bay doors are fixed. on a side note, i did just a tiny bit of modification to her. i drilled the missile ports in. otherwise there was just a blank space there. to me, that just would not do. i also had the choice of installing the hidden ion cannons in an open, firing position, or closed. the kit had options for both Jango's version or Boba's version. i mixed them a bit. ;) ;)
