The Doc did ask for some of those... it hasn't really been long enough for any local bugs to assert themselves, but I suppose he is running low on preserving sleeves.  I'll throw two of those on the list.  Thanks!

Then information about local bugs could be valuable as well - also info on treatment options for those bugs, any local lifeforms that might have medicinal properties...

The latter bit was in the original "please don't shoot us for stealing your escape pod" care package, but a more detailed break down of local dieseases is a logical ask, and one Renzi's doc would have wanted to wait to share until the unit could actually USE it.  Another good call!

By the by, I'm still filling out names for the TO&E.  I've got most of the mechwarriors (Staff Sergeants) and Troopers (Privates) to go.  Other notables I'm missing:
S-1/JAG (Lieutenant)
2nd Infantry Platoon Commander (Lieutenant)
The Mondez's Gunner (Warrant)
The Bull (Master Sergeant, senior enlisted Tech, assigned to the Jaegermech)
Master Truck (Master Sergeant, commands the BMRV and technically all the other vehicles)
MiniDoc (Senior Medic, under the Doc, Master Sergeant)
Chief (2nd most senior enlisted on the Mondez (under Senior Chief), Chief Petty Officer)
Drivers of the APC and BMRV
All the lead Techs for the 'mechs and vehicles (Sergeants) save Johansen (for the Vulcan)
All the Squad Leaders (Sergeants)
The rest of the Vehicle Crew aside from the handful I've named (Corporals)
The three Medics (Corporals)
The rest of the Mondez's crew (Petty Officers; BM2 Venters still needs a first name too)

Feminine hygiene products?

Not something BT has focussed on a lot so far, but something that the wife of the commander (for whose mech the engine is meant anyway) would definitely understand the importance of.

For that matter... contraceptives.
I would agree that they're smart to have on both accounts.  May also create more sympathy if they are sure we have to worry about females.

We have that already on a Modified Drillson "MASH", but I am not sure about or cooking capability.

Attached is a rough sketch of OLF Skinner.

Map Key:
W      Water Processing
M      Mess and Medical Facilities
L      Life Support equipment
I suppose alot of this list depends on the answers for the status of the above facilities and how we can repair/refurbish if they need it without revealing that we have them.  Put that desert survival knowledge to the test.

Updated list so far.  Let me know if you want to transmit it to Renzi...

A Medium Laser
A Heat Sink
A ton of armor
Lubricants (let's say two jerry cans)
5 meters of chain
50 meters of cable
Four ABTs
10 meters of power cable
Farming tools (half a dozen)
A reverse osmosis filter (or two)
Food (half a ton)
Another bag of seeds
COFFEE
Half a dozen standard power packs
Two Solar Rechargers
Two Preserving Sleeves
A Radar Sensor
A Seismic Sensor
Feminine Hygiene products
Local epidemiology

All in return for a 270 rated fusion engine with one engine hit.

Question on the engine, technically this should be in the ask the dev.,

If a engine has been hit, would this mean a blown heat sink, as in your car's radiator gets cracked?

It's essentially that, yes.  A single engine hit makes a fusion engine generate five heat per turn, so that could easily be fluffed as "engine shielding" or half the free (single) heat sinks.  Mechanically, it uses up a use of an engine repair kit to fix.  For the Renegades, it's a really "hope we never have to use it" thing, but also something they really wouldn't want to be without.  They could also use it for parts.  In terms of C-Bills, the Renegades are making out like bandits, and that's exactly what Skinner wants them to think.  He's really hoping they don't cotton on to the ABTs being the real ask...  ^-^

Then would it be sneaky to remove an actual SHS from the engine? Or is that a Factory refit?

Heat sinks are installed already in the engine per TM as built in free, if the engine can't handle the free ones, the rest get placed in the critical slots of the mech.

Ok, this week's exercise is to haggle!  They can't spare any chain, but can offer a bit more cable.  They only have three ABTs they're not using, but will give them up for a fusion engine.

The original ask and counteroffer:
Code: [Select]
A Medium Laser YES
A Heat Sink YES
A ton of armor YES
Two jerry cans of lubricants How about three?
5 meters of chain None, sorry
50 meters of cable How about 75 meters?
Four ABTs We only have three, sorry
10 meters of power cable YES
6 more farming tools How about 12?
Two reverse osmosis filters ONE
Half a ton of food How about a quarter ton (we were pretty generous the first time)?
A bag of seeds YES
COFFEE ONE CAN (and we can get more next time we go to Rabigh)
Half a dozen standard power packs YES
Two Solar Rechargers We only have one to spare.
Two Preserving Sleeves YES
A Radar Sensor YES
A Seismic Sensor We're out, sorry!
A case of feminine hygiene products YES (probably not what you expect, though)
Local epidemiology YES!

And Cushman's counterpart is curious as to what it's all needed for.  I'm also taking ideas for the cover story...  8)
