If you're running Windows 7 or most Linux GUIs you can set multiple wallpapers, and they cycle through.

I have a mac, but I have VMWare with Windows 7. I'm trying to build up a slideshow of art from every era of Battletech at the moment, it will be awesome.

It was mentioned in the 3145 thread, but seems to have been snowed under in all the other awesome stuff that's going on there.

Basically, you benefit from the efforts of Ray in creating them (a non-trivial task) and from Patrick's in getting them on the website.
We've got the four main aspect ratio's supported now, which should make it possible for people to support HD screens and mobile phones (with some slight resizing).

I have a few of them added to my own set of alternating wallpapers. (They look great on my PS Vita's screen, too. The 1920x1080 pics fit quite well on the 5" OLED in terms of proportion.)
