In Our Final Hour…
"Mistake," Anh almost sighed. He'd recognized the feint, and reacted just the way he ought to…
If that feint were THE feint.
"Torpedoes, engage the Miyamoto Musashi," she ordered. "Full war loads, rockbreakers."
"Ayeh, Mum. Torps in the water."
"Mum, we're lit! TVM from enemy missile guidance!!"
"Well, shit."

Afterword
The Draconis Combine Admiralty lost the DCS Miyamoto Musashi in an action that would remain classified for the next half century. One footnote of this, is that this was the final action of the 171st Kowloon Volunteers, most of whom did not survive the battle. And most of those survivors did not survive internment.
Recently recovered data from wrecks in that system (see: Comstar Historical Society file 177135a/Gamma 211, dated 3047) confirm that the McKenna, one of only three known to have defected to one of the Great Houses in the aftermath of Operation EXODUS, was destroyed by nuclear ordnance fired from the KCS Fatiama, a salvaged Pinto class in service with the short lived "Kowloon Republic" (an entity that ceased to exist as a separate polity in August of 2799).
The Combine lost one of the most talented officers to defect, Admiral Kaneda Toshiro… in terms of historical significance, the DCA was a relatively light force, with fewer Cruisers or Battlecruisers than other successor states at the time. Admiral (later Tai Sho) Kaneda was one of the most noted and effective SLDF Naval commanders of the Amaris conflict.
His opponent was confirmed to be former SLDF Commander (later, Kowloonese Commodore) Anh Li Cu'ong, whose name appears in records throughout the conflict with Amaris, most notably at Elbar, and as part of an escorting force during Operation: Liberation in the Sol system. She is best recorded, however, for her use of kinetic bombardment in Kowloon's final revolt against the Rim Worlds Republic, wherein she planned and executed the use of high speed kinetic impactors to remove Rim Worlds garrisons on her homeworld.
There were and are no remains to return to her world of origin. Battleroms recovered from wreckage clearly indicate that both flagships in that action were destroyed by nuclear fire.
