I just got mine in from Aries Games & Miniatures (who sent me a message when they had the mini in stock after GenCon) and I have to say I like it a LOT more than the original one.  Arms are balls for the shoulders to the upper arm and pegs into the ERLL/ERPPC 'pod' and look to me sort of like the Scourge GR arm just not as thick & no looping cord.

Over all I like the way the mini is put together a LOT more than the old one though I might pin the arm to the ERLL/ERPPC pod, the post is a bit short BUT there is enough material to drill into for the pin easily unlike the old version.

Is the ball for the shoulder/upper arm joint on the body side or the arm side?

Sorry if that's not clear, but I'm wondering if the arm has the ball socket or if the body has the ball socket. I'm going to eventually be picking some of these up, but one is donating all limbs/possibly hips to a Vulture MkIV body for an updated-ish look until IWM or CGL make an updated version of the greatest Mad Dog of all time - and I'm wondering how much modification I'm in for on the Vulture body.

Had it backwards, you can see the ball socket that goes into the torso.



This is where the arm connects to the ERLL/ERPPC pod.

One other thing I noticed as I started preparing the minis now that they were washed off, the upper leg peg has a tiny protruding bit that links into the lower leg's knee area that locks the leg in place so it has more to grip and make sure the leg has the right angle to stand the Savage Wolf at the right height.  Easy to remove if you wish to change the leg stances- 5 seconds of filing I imagine.  But it will help to keep the leg in a easy simple position.
