I really like the succession wars chaos campaign package.

Indeed. It's very well put together and fits just so in the art direction. I really rather want to give it a spin with the boxes. Good work Paul:

Not individually, but a complete set of just 10 minis, for $40.
If anyone can answer, any idea if these will be available at GenCon in this format?

What is in the current pipeline coming in anyways since House Arano came out?

We have some Touring the Stars, and Turning Points as far i'm aware of electronic, and physically the Alpha Strike Commander's book.

All of the announced Turnings Points have been released.  There was a POD compilation of the Jihad Turning Points mentioned at one point, but nothing since then and it's no longer on Coming Releases.

Alpha Strike has the Commander's Edition and two Unit Card decks (Succession Wars and Clan Invasion).
Technical Readout: Clan Invasion and the new TechManual were at Origins as well.

Rum! I mean, that's pretty normal after Origins is over, IIRC.

Let's see if the Alpha Strike cards get a general release. All the previous sets have been con exclusives.

I can at least confirm that this version is superior to this first version they sold. The front and back of each card is now the same mech! The first time they tried making a set of these, the print run got screwed up somehow and the fronts and backs didn't match up. So, you would end up with a Catapult on one side and a Javelin on the other, rather than having both variants of the Catapult on the same card.

I haven't tried using dry-erase markers on the new cards yet, but they feel like they have the plastic coating that lets you wipe off dry erase on them. Always nice when the cards are actually useful in a game and not just pretty!

While the AS cards would be nice to have and are cool-looking, they're way low on my personal "Battletech necesities to buy" list, since there's the MUL already.

I have seen cards as PoD on drivethru but I have no idea what the quality is like

I definitely want to see those. The prettiness is integral to the success of the AS line at this point (that is, need it to get new people in the door in the first place) and I'd like to get my hands on something of that production quality. I'm glad for both MUL and card tuck boxes, though. The two-pronged approach fits the very long production continuity of BT well.

There was/is a set of cards for Leviathans on drive-thru, I ordered them some time back. Very good quality. They weren't meant to be marked on, but I'd still feel comfortable using dry erase on them if I needed to.

Do the Alpha Strike cards (or the PoD Leviathan cards) fit in standard card sleeves?  If they do, you could sleeve the cards and then use dry erase markers on the sleeves.

Do the Alpha Strike cards (or the PoD Leviathan cards) fit in standard card sleeves?  If they do, you could sleeve the cards and then use dry erase markers on the sleeves.

They are 2.5" x 3.5" and fit perfectly in sleeves.

I am under the impression that the card sets will be going to distribution.  Each one (which correspond to the omnibus TROs) will have 98 Mech cards (for 196 variants/configs/pilots) and 10 unit cards (i.e. 2nd Sword of Light, Wolf's Dragoons Gamma, etc.) that includes SCAs, skill, and unit info .  Succession Wars has one unit for each Great House, plus Wolf's Dragoons Gamma, Lindon's Company, one of the Big Mac regiments, Hansen' s Roughriders and one more I can't remember off-hand.  Clan Invasion included units from ComStar, St. Ives, Rasalhague, and Clusters from Jade Falcon, Ghost Bear, Wolf, Smoke Jaguar, Diamond Shark, Steel Viper, and one that I can't remember off-hand.

They're good sets.
