Battlestar Galactica - Series Bible released
« on: 26 January 2011, 11:38:38 »
I figure there's enough BSG fans out there to appreciate this.
The bible for the remake series was released online. It's filled with interesting little tidbits and background info.

Just you know, you could specify what series it was in the Title, the Classic or the New. You don't want to be misleading  ::)

It could be a ton of things. It could even be the sequel bible that was suppose to be on Fox. But it is RDM's BSG.

I read that and felt like weeping. No Final Five, no Angels, no dead and back again Starbuck, just the potential and promise of the first two seasons.

Which, it could be argued, is the only one worth watching.

Nice find.

I think it's interesting to see how closely this was followed...

Given that the original BSG only lasted two seasons, when they wrote this they could not have predicted the excitement that would come from it, or that it would last for four seasons for that matter.

Actually, the original only lasted a single season of 24 episodes...

I liked both shows for various reasons. Nice to finally get the Series' Bible to read it.

Thanks, I've been looking for something like this.  Been a long time since I saw the series and only the first two seasons were any good anyway.

No Starbuck except in flashbacks...Colonials on Earth in 1980...even campier stories....

Oh yeah, and invisible flying motorcycles...

I had thought I had burned those memories from my mind, but no...they're coming back...

Very interesting.

I'm already sensing potential for an RPG session based on this info. Which is unusual in an of itself, because I've never really entertained the prospect of gaming in the BSG universe -- new or old.

Worse.  Megaforce was, at least, awful in an ENTERTAINING way.

Galactic '80 was just HORRID.
