I always liked Bullit, although I remember my Dad watching it with us when I was a kid and griping "That chase was total BS. The only way that Mustang would keep pace with, let alone catch up to that Charger is the guy driving the Charger or the guy who tuned it, or both are completely incompetent."

Dad was a Mopar guy until the K-Car came out.

I love Mad Max, as it really sets the scene for Road Warrior.

I liked the first three Fast and Furious movies, as they all captured a different feel. 4 was really, really substandard, and quite the retread. I hope they come up with a new tweak for 5.

I believe Car and Driver declared Ronin to be the new number one card chase, for Our Heros inthe Peugeot . . .

If you ignore the bit with the shoulder-fired rocket launcher, Ronin had a spectacular couple of car chases, plus a line up of great cars. Audi S8, BMW M5, Mercedes 450SEL 6.9... and some Puegeots.

I love the chase in The Dead Pool, the Caprice vs. the '63 Corvette. :D
