This show is OK. I just wish they would go back to the movie's roots. There are too many non-Hindus on the show.

Funny quote, and yeah, I kind of like this show.  I like how it's not just "American teaches backward Indians how cool life is in America"; it's often "Indians teach backward American how cool life is in India."  And sometimes (like the quote above) it's just funny.  I don't think it will last a very long time, but it might get another season or two if they focus on the humor and characters and not on "American" or "Indian" stereotypes.

The show is erratic at best.  The movie was hilarious.
