I have a pair of Hachiman tanks that I kitbashed Into a variant. To do that, I cut off the missile pods, but saved them. I think that they will do the trick.

I had wanted a variant to be with the Griffin but time wise it did not work out. There are some variants planned for it to be completed.

Catapult I mentioned in a earlier post.

IMHO it would be a horrible missed opportunity if these Nuseen kits did not come with parts for the SLDf Royal Variants as well. For some like the Marauder down the line, that is no big deal. For others
Like the Beamer and Griffin it requires an extra part or two that could add an extra buck and a half to retail

I don’t envy the balancing act

I have some of the Locust variants made in a magnetized format in the Mech of the Fortnite: Locust thread, so its not too hard to find parts that scale decently.

IIRC, the Royal Griffin is going to be an online exclusive.

But I really hope they make the Royal Beamer is available.

???? sourcee!
Both would be awesome
Throw in Royal Locust and Royal Shadow Hawk and that'd be a fun Royal Lance Pack.

I want to say Spec talked about that a few pages back when discussing variant parts in the blisters.

It's not, but the Royal, the 1S, and the Sparky are the only configurations that use the classic appearance rather than being a Project Phoenix type and don't look outwardly identical to the 1N.  Sparky was a unique mech so I don't know if we'll see a mini for it, and if you're making a variant sculpt for the Griffin the Royal is easy to do and something that's going to be in demand.

I wonder if there will be a mini for the Goliath C / 6M variant with the quad mech turret.

My store just got their order in, so what I requested was put aside . . . I saw two Locusts still, maybe 1 Catapult, and I grabbed 1 of 2 Griffins.

I know something like this will never happen, but, man, i wish the Wolverine, when it eventually comes out in metal, has an alternate head-piece.
Like with the laser moved from the right torso back to the head, where it belongs. It's probably the only design from the AGoAC that i personally dislike.

I know, i know, this isn't gonna happen, but i can dream.

I know what you mean.  I'd just buy the Wolverine -1R/3R mini.  It already exists, has a chin turret (not quite like the original though), and is a good-looking mech.

It is . . . and you can mod it to be different variants.  I made a -3R into a -7M

nuseens assembled pretty well. the locust and griffin are easiest to pose straight out of the blister with the separate feet (i'm going to redo the griffin's legs at some point).

Griffin - parts: 9 (x2 feet, x2 legs, hip, torso, x2 arms, missile pod)

Catapult - parts: 6 (x2 legs, hip, torso, x2 arms whether the C1 or the K2)

Locust - parts: 9 (x2 feet, x2 legs, hip, torso, x2 arms, underchin MLas for the 1V or 1Vb or sensor pod looking thing for the 1E)

You have a Solitaire?  I would be curious to see the Solitaire next to the PPC Kat.  I know the HLL from the SIE for the PPCs was a popular modification to old Cats.

Lol . . . mine is not that tall . . . but that is because I stretched the legs out- like 3 pennies worth of stretch.

That new K2 is very good looking, far better than the old model IMO.

But when you have a new Whammy and Marauder, why are you using a K2?  :P

Because we haven't gotten the new figures for the Warhammer or Marauder yet.

K2 jumps, IIRC. Plus it looks cool!

The reason why to have a K2 if you're already getting a Marauder and a Warhammer?

Amen to that. I have bought new release stuff (back when my flgs was actually getting Battletech stuff from their suppliers) that I will likely never use, just so I can cross it off the old checklist.
