OK people attention to orders
Your new mission is to perform a recon of the area near the city of Siniy.
You will be dropped out side the city.
You are to recon the area to see what is in that area.
Your force will be 1 BattleMech, 1 Armored unit, 1 Infantry unit and 1 unit of your choice.

The AO will be the following maps
From Map Set 6 (Compilation 2)
Residential and Suburbs
From Map set 5 (Compilation 2) and Map Set 2 (Compilation 1)
Open Terrain 1 and Scattered Woods
From Map Set 5 (Compilation 2) and Map Set 2 (Compilation 1)
Open Terrain 2 and Lake Area
high numbers to low.

When can we start using the new maps?  I'm rather fond of them.

Has anyone gotten back from the previous missions?  I'm running a little low on some things.
I will include the Hussar, Locust, and Cavalier w/ battle armor.  I'd like to bring the Saladin, but the crew is in the Pegasus.  Are they free to ride?

Don't look at me, my heavier units either need repairs or in the possession of other units. I am also currently under orders to "stand down" because "we"(sans the Arkab) are to aggressive.

A pity; The Exterminator would have been good for this kind of mission.

Sorry for the last minute notice. Work will not give me weekends off, and i just found out that they scheduled me for this sunday. Retail hell is coming. Won't be able to make december either. Unless something major happens.

not very many heavier units are good for scouting missions

Hey Gang, hopefully my back will cooperate and let me drive out today, so here's the deal for my unit assuming I make it (will call one way or the other once I know):

owens 1 (NOT the one with the gyro hit the one with the c3 comp that I screwed up)
gal 2 (less capable crew)
Pegasus
achileus w/maxim

Devondra, a scout unit should always have a heavy base of fire to run to if things go sideways and they find bad things :yikes:

That being said, I'm bringing all light stuff with BAPs (and some with guardian)  :ugly_stupid:

on a side note, I've been forgetting to ask if one of you can print out sheets for my orion and achilleus suits... never had one for the orion, and misplaced the one for the achilleus

There is a difference between Recon and Recon in force. Recon is the type of force you fielded today. Recon in force is when you use the "stereotypical steiner recon lance."

Notice to those who have been with the campaign from the start:
Our contracts are ending soon and we have to submit new proposals.  Honestly, I'm not sure where to start.  I also think we are better off if everyone submitted similar if not identical proposals.

What you do is get in touch with Joy, or Jack and make an appointment to discuss your concerns and options for a new contract.
