Eilidhdawn, are we role-playing these invitations?
People who will be driving war machines: Should we discuss what everyone is bringing to the next fight?  I would like to bring my Alacorn for firepower, Griffin for maneuverability, and Karnov with BA.

Some or all of these invitations may lead to valuable contacts and resources. I would guess role play would be decided by the amount of interest the players show, determined by the gamemaster.

My role is to create shiny, interesting pebbles to attract you. Some are iron pyrite, some are cinnabar, some are diamonds in the rough.

English

It is taught in school as a required course, but is not spoken everyday by the average person. Conversational english speakers may be found in metropolitan and trading areas, spoken by high ranking and public liaisons from NPO and militia personnel, in tourist areas, the spaceport and certain news and entertainment venues.

It is highly recommended you learn japanese to communicate with the population, or to hire an interpreter and or a cultural liaison.

i ask my hired cultral adviser for information about

Sugai Ichizoku

i need more information on who this is before i can make a decision

The Sugai Ichizoku is a major clan on Nejiro. It is one of the original founding clans. They are substantially involved in Nejiro's heavy industries, real estate, defense industries and professional sports. Hilo is one of their territories, and the base of operations for the Sugai Zaibatsu. They are one of the more progressive clans.

Yomiuri Land is a large indoor water park, in Hilo, a five story glass building that is two city blocks of indoor beach, wave pools, slides, fishpipes, bumper boats, a haunted river cave, splash battles, tube rides, watercoasters, cafes and bars. The top level is an adult only, clothing optional, roman waterfall baths with attendants.

The Majestic is an elegant four star hotel with a casino (similar to Monaco)

And occasionally the Battlemech otakus will catch a glimpse of a Hammer in Ironborn colors walking around the city on patrol. (that's Dagmer Harlaw [ie. the screw-up] in the Cleftjaw who I left to watch my base near Hilo)  :))

Technically, that's a Warhammer.  A Hammer is a 35 ton light 'Mech with LRM 5s and a few Medium Lasers.  They are often confused with one another due to the similar names.

Don't worry, though.  Dagmer's been told not to rip up the ferrocrete and also not to antagonize the militias.  He's effectively my "ready-five" in the vicinity of Hilo City.  It's been that way since Col. Greyjoy and Capt. Botley rotated out of the defense of the city after the Battle of Hilo.

As for the not quoting you on the post, sorry I done goofed.   #P
