Originally it was going to be called the Club, but one of the designers thought they were talking about Blackjack the Card Game, and used their own favorite game as the name. It won over the committee and so they ran with it.

Wow, that does actually work pretty well, even with the loss of the two lasers.

Nice! You can run and fire all of the guns without worry, and jumping is heat neutral with the lasers.
A pair of Vindicators(or the Advocator)+Whitworth+this would be a nice poor man's medium lance

Honestly, I was surprised with how few 'Mechs actually use the 160 and 120 fusion engines, even if they do restrict speed and mass a lot.

The only problem with those engines are that the practical tonnage/speed combos are usually significantly inferior to something heavier/faster without bringing much in the way of cost savings.

E.g. 40 tons 4/6/4 instead of 5/8/5 gains 3 tons of payload (23 instead of 20 w/o armor) for a very significant reduction in mobility. 45 tons 4/6/4 instead of 40 tons adds 3.5 tons (26.5 instead of 23 w/o armor) for ~15% higher cost. There are similar problems with the 120 SFE.
