Rules:
Must use a ICE Engine.
Time period is 3025-3048.
All weapons and equipment available in that period is useable by the ICE battlemech as according to construction rules.
You may make either a clean sheet design or make a ICE variant of an existing design.
Role of the mech is up to you, but one entry per a weight bracket.

Scenario: you are an engineer in a fledgeling solaris stable, you're task was to make a easy to maintain mech that can withstand the rigors of solaris matches. however with the budget you have you could not afford a fusion engine, the budget is forcing you to use a more common Internal combustion engine commonly found in tanks and other vehicles. As such you have made the concession that you're design will have flaws in it. But this is Solaris, flashy works over efficiency in some cases.

I was tempted to remove arm lasers on this Archer as well as the rest of the weapons, but I think it's better with them:

Clints aren't the most popular of 'Mechs, and their 240-rating fusion engine is used a variety of places, so the idea of one having its engine stripped out in favor of using that engine to repair a Rifleman, Awesome or even Manticore isn't so far-fetched.

A 160-rating ICE engine will drive a 40-ton Clint at 4/6 movement.  Armor remains stock, with a single medium laser providing the backup weapon, while the primary weapon has been swapped out for a heavy rifled cannon with a six-shot cylinder, like a giant revolver carbine.  To that end, I gave this Clint a salvaged right hand actuator.  Four heat sinks struggle to keep it all cool.

Quirks are mostly standard for the Clint, with the additions of jettison-capable weapon and fast reload (giant speedloaders!) for the heavy rifle.

I went with the JagerMech and came up with two versions. One version drops the engine down to a 195 with 3/5 movement. To make up weight of the engines and 5 heat sinks, the AC/5s are downgraded to MRCs and 1 ML is dropped. A half a ton of armor is added spread evenly between the arms and rear side torsos.

The second version uses a 130 engine with 2/3 movement. The weaponry remains the same. It also has 5 heat sinks and adds .5 tons of armor as above.

I think I favor the second version. It's slower but still fast enough to keep up with and provide some supporting fire for assault mechs. I'm sorry it isn't pasted in. it comes out a mess when I try.
