Why not use both, as big absurd ram-ships?

Find the right picture and you can make each of them the captains.

Gods of Egypt . . . B movie, but pretty good fantasy- my toddler has liked to for the last 2 years or so and it has a surprisingly top notch cast.  Forget his name, but Jaime Lannister is Horus, Chadwick Boseman is Thoth, Ra is Geoffery Rush, Gerard Butler is Set, Rufus Sewell is a human lackey for him, Elodie Yung is Hathor, Bryan Brown is Osiris . . . the two on the snakes?  minor gods serving Set- one white, dressed in white, on a white snake, the other black, dress in black, on a black snake.

Up Pompei, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, respectively.

Run Culture ship mind names through translation to Latin. I nearly posted a couple of dozen last night.
* No, FASA wasn't big on errata - ColBosch
* The Housebook series is from the 80's and is the foundation of Btech, the 80's heart wrapped in heavy metal that beats to this day - Sigma

Arise!

Saw this review of a very consumer focused Naval Wargame here: https://www.armchairdragoons.com/articles/analysis/hfroanalysis/. This is the kind of thing I would have loved in middle school. Enough detail to make force composition count, but not a lot of detail. Something like this or Harpoon Captain's Edition would make recruiting newbies easier, I think.

I have played in the past several age if sail games. I like fast oaced games that deal with tactics more than the minutae of ship captainship and what aprt of the hull is getting hit. For me the best in that regard is the minalist The Immortal Memory. Can be found free online. You only need to make everybody skill 4 and change the initiative system to a wind based system (the core system is pro-british, that always go last in movement). And then you have a grrat game that palys in 1 hour for flotilla sizes and 2-3 hours for Terafalgar.
