Classic Battletech Games
Where: Broadsword 8 Gaming Convention, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
When: 9:30am and 2:00pm, Saturday, May 4th
Strap yourself into a giant Battlemech and walk onto the field of battle. The Catalyst Demo team will be bringing everything required to play the game, whether you are a new player, a returning player or a seasoned Mechwarrior, come out and play some heavy metal mayhem.
9:30am: Operation Hammerfall – First Wave – July 3137
The goal of Hammerfall was to weaken both the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey and the Marik-Stewart Commonwealth so they would be unable to strike against the Lyran Commonwealth. Lyran forces land in the Free Worlds League. Duke Vedet leads his newly formed First Hesperus Guards regiment and invades the world of Shasta. Come play as the Duke's forces or the Free World League and replay the planetary invasion of Shasta.
2:00pm: Operation Hammerfall – Final Wave - June 3138
The goal of Hammerfall was to weaken both the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey and the Marik-Stewart Commonwealth so they would be unable to strike against the Lyran Commonwealth. "Coalition" forces from Helm moved to the relocated capital of the Commonwealth on Stewart. Lyran/Wolf forces invade the city of New Endinburgh, trying to capture Captain-General Anson Marik. Lyran & Wolf forces continued to operate as seperate task forces on the ground. The invasion forces fought the Silver Hawk companies defending the city. Come play as the “Coalition” forces or the Free World League and shape the future of the Inner Sphere.
