Pirate Stronghold
« on: 21 September 2018, 12:19:53 »
I built this pirate stronghold for a terrain contest earlier this year. Anything I build is setup to be playable with the rest of my 1.75in hexed terrain. The idea started two years ago when I bought the skull at the IWM booth at Gencon. Like most of my ideas it set unstarted. Then at terrain group held a contest and it was great excuse to work on the project. Here is a link to the full build gallery.

Well, I'm impressed, and thanks for providing the in-progress shots of creating the base.

What's that out front?  I want to say Demolisher (which is the kind of door guard no one really wants to mess with) but I'm not sure.

Thanks.

I like to document how I did things. Also may help people with their projects and ideas.

The tank is a tokugawa.

Ah!  Not quite as formidable but not a terrible choice of door warden.

Yeah it was more a choice of convenience. It matched the mechs lol.
