As per the errata, the BV of a Long Tom Artillery Cannon is 329. My question is how this number was calculated, given that a Sniper Artillery piece weighs the same, causes the same damage, has more shots per ton of ammunition and can fire at very close distances (20 hexes compared to the Sniper's 17 when using Direct Fire rules).
Yet the Sniper Artillery piece is only 85 BV... That's a pretty big leap.
