Overview
A refit of the classic Quickscel LRM carrier to serve as AA defense wherever the unit can be sold using "top of the line" (rejected) AFFS Rotary and LB-X weapons.

Capabilities
To make training of crews easier, the primary turret weapons are a Rotary AC/2 and a LB-X AC/10, both of which share very similar range profiles to each other. The tank also carries a front mounted flamer to cover it's own retreat, as well as side mounted machine guns in case it's position is overwhelmed.

Deployment
Sold to anyone who will buy it, Quickscel has a reputation for low quality products. That doesn't deter them being sold to mercenary and pererphiery forces looking for a cheap AA tank to deter enemy fighters and bombers. Commonly deployed in a short lance of 2.

History
While the tank is bought frequently due to it's lower cost, most crews driving this tank despise it, due to it's lack of crew comfort, and extremely light armor. It has proved to be a serviceable anti-aircraft tank, and is relatively easy to repair, assuming the tank was sold with all it's parts in the first place. When caught out, these tanks do not fare well in a shooting match, even with CASE protecting the crew compartment.

Almost too advanced to Quickcell

Ordered twelve.  None were delivered properly assembled and parts were missing.  Screws securing important maintenance hatches were stripped on arrival.

We have any quality standards at all therefore Quickcell fails to meet them.

If you play with design quirks, give both guns ammunition feed issues.

Needs some interesting quirks, like: "Explodes when rear ended"

A warning sticker stating "blow out panels may blow in when dropped"?

I think Quikscell would try to keep the cost as low as possible by using only one kind of autocannon, probably the LB-10X.   Could you really see any company giving them any kind of access to advanced tech such as a RAC?Maybe smaller LB autocannons for the AAA role, but that's about it.

Quickcell already have an AA vehicle, it's called a scorpion, you put flak shells in the AC/5

I'm with this. I just checked it with HeavyMetal Vee, and LRM Carrier can easily be modded to have a turret with 2 LB 10-X ACs or 3 LB 5-X ACs with plenty of room for ammo, turret armor, and some back up weapons.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights errant, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
