Miniature of the Fortnight #58: Howler (Baboon)

This fortnight is set aside for monkey business.  "Ook."

Possibly a descendent of the Sling (at least in terms of weapon loadout), the Howler (Baboon) is another of the Clan BattleMechs originally featured in the Jade Falcon Sourcebook and then later in Technical Readout: 3055.  And, like almost all the other Clan 'Mechs in TRO 3055, it then became Unseen and then Reseen.  This 'Mech doesn't have a 'Mech of the Week article yet so... good luck?

As mentioned, the Howler has two sculpts:

• The original Unseen sculpt. (20-688)
• The Reseen sculpt, featuring the Howler 2 variant. (20-370).

Only the old one. This Baboon is part of clan Jade Falcon's Rho galaxy.

Plus - even if it gets its own galery in the future - a picture of my Mandrill, this time as clan Coyote Omicron.
I modified its pose as i don't like the far forward hulking stand.

Really do LOVE the old Baboon sculpt sooooooooooo much more than the newer one. It just "pops" so much better somehow.
