My rear brakes were about $245 for new high perfomance rotors and and pads installed. What kind of car is this?
Funny I always see a Pacer or Ointo in it.
Pinto + small block chevy, and I can be pretty sure it be going over 90. Who said you had to enjoy living in it?
...that's like mayonnaise on a hot dog... :P
Knock it all you want, but Chevy has done masterful things with small blocks. But just the same, then put a 429 in a Pinto, and before it explodes it will top 90 mph.
a chevy engine in a ford? that's like mayonnaise on a hot dog, only silly people in california do things like that. :P
Well why would one want a small block in you could get a big block?
Most manufactures used to have two V8 engines. The smaller one would be used in intermediate sized cars and the bigger one in full size cars and trucks. It was just easier for most people to call them out as small block and big block rather than their call out.
And now days that is not so? ???
The big blocks, for the most part, went the way of the dodo. Stringent EPA regulations and the death of the muscle cars during the 70 and 80 high gas prices made gas guzzling big blocks unattractive to consumers and manufacturers.
Do not forget the Viper's motor.
