Varangian Guard- A MW5 Narrative unit

I came up with this for a MW5 play-through with a few substitutions- like how can you be Davion affiliated without picking up a Valkyrie?  I also mistakenly thought the PC's name was just Mason and so based on how the campaign ends and the original unit logo I thought of a appropriate last name that IMO plays on his father's origin.  Then I hand-waved it, you would have to change your name as well if you were trying to sneak out from a blockade like the one at the start.

Here is a TO&E over the years, I will go back and edit but for now I am just putting in the mechs with the occasional name.  If anyone uses them as a OpFor, I look forward to hearing how it goes!

MW5 offers some interesting options and only on Ronin War and the last bit of the narrative campaign arc do you get "only bring assaults" . . . I was happy to get War of 3039 which chopped the dropped lance weight target back down to 250-350.

Yeah, I subbed in a Cronus as a 'bought' replacement for the lost Wolverine and will be using a Merlin in a 3040s force.

I figured you played through- why NOT build them as a table top merc force.  I keep a set of non-canon mercs as options to be for or against along with individual MWs that could randomly be hired.
