Pictures will be up tonight. I will have pricing and more details up by tomorrow. The molds are being worked on now so some should make I to origins by Friday. As for a qty, unsure as of today.

Personally, I have no problem with jumping Mechs, though I would prefer to see jumping LIGHT Mechs, instead of heavies and assaults. A Phoenix Hawk, Jenner, Firestarter, or especially the Tarantula would be wonderful.

But, as an artist, I'll paint whatever I'm sent.

Any Guesses on the Price of one Omega?  I'm betting on $30!  :o
Seems about right as it looks to be twice the size of the Atlas, maybe more. could be as much as $40, though

O0 O0 O0 O0 O0 DFA Atlas is Fun and a Omega to leep on is good also. Now if a Con in Oregon could be visited by IWM them maybe I could get one or 3 of them. Anyone going to GEN CON could PM me and help out a Collector? That would be great.

Telling the guy with a cannon for an avatar might not be the best idea...the last thing I want is to find myself holed by Omega-balls. :)

I must have an Omega...

With superheavies hitting the battlefield House Steiner will finally have a proper assault mech. I mean heavies like the Atlas are nice but sometimes you just need some real brute force.

Since I moved to VA, I find myself bereft of a personal cannon (or catapult or trebuchet, etc...)
I have to make do by caressing the ACW relics that are parked at all the local battlefields.
Besides... IWM or RP pewter isn't for case or canister or round shot...
That is what pig iron or recast reproductions are for.

What is this jumping Atlas?  I thought it was voted on and won for a Highlander Resculpt performing a 'Highlander Burial'?

Apparently not, I guess it is just an example of ignoring what the customers want and giving us a crappy Atlas instead.

Apparently not, I guess it is just an example of ignoring what the customers a tiny fraction of the player base that happens to post on a particular website want and giving us a crappy Atlas instead.

There, fixed that for you. ;)

Remember, the denizens of these forums do not represent the total player population, or even a noticeable fraction of it, and therefore opinions widely held here do not necessarily reflect the views of anybody else in the gaming world. They probably have other ways of gauging player interest that we do not see. My guess is sales figures, but since I'm not a part of IWM, that guess is worth even less than the electrons that put it on your screen.

So, people that post here aren't customers, and their opinion means nothing then?  ???  While I don't have a problem with the jumpers myself, I agree that it's time for IWM to Move On to something new.  Also, if you think the opinions here are a minority, check out similar threads at LotB and BTU, and you'll see a LOT of negative comments about the jumping Atlas.  Like here, there's several people wanting the jump pack and the different hands, but they're not that interested in the mini as a whole.

Altering someone's post to suit your own opinion isn't going to change their's.  There's times when you do that when it's NOT the "Best" thing to do, you know?  ???

IWM loves jumpers, the only way to stop them making them and move onto something else is for nobody to buy them. Alas people will always buy the jumpers so we get jumpers.
I don't set an example for others. I make examples of them.

Hey! I quite like the hockey mask Atlas. IMHO, it's tons better than the spikey devil version - old Jason is beefy enough to be a 100-tonner, and would look pretty intimidating emerging from a cloud of smoke, I reckon!

haha, oh wow....wish i had the funds to go and pick one of those up, if only for parts. detachable jump boosters? a punching arm sculpt for the Atlas? it's full of wonder and hilarity!

Apparently not, I guess it is just an example of ignoring what the customers a tiny fraction of the player base that happens to post on a particular website want and giving us a crappy Hilarious Atlas instead.

well that's just like, your opinion, man.  :)

As your opinion is yours.

Note: if IWM wasn't making money on them, they would probably not keep doing them. Their goal is probably not to produce a mass-appeal mini, but to produce something technically challenging which allows painters to do more than they could with a stock mini. THey may also be making jumping minis their "thing", like Reaper's "Sophie" - again, not mass-market minis, with no gaming use, but appeal to the pro painters.

Case in point - we're not making Leviathans look the way the Dystopian War crowd would find familiar - we're aiming to achieve something else with the look.

Anyone know which record sheet to use for this? The jump pack is an applique one, so it doesn't seem to be the -K3. and the weapon loadout appears to match the AS7-K, but if there is a specific sheet I need to use, that would prove more helpful to me.

I think that's not a different variant. It may be an Atlas with a detachable jump pack. But I'm not 100% sure.
