You know how it goes: After round two it had become abundantly clear to even the thickest of Successor Lords that their little dispute about the throne of the Camerons had let to a drastic decline in technology. Gone were the warships, all kinds of fancy weapons and even century-old Mech designs were becoming rarer and rarer by the year. As the Third Succession War dragged on and the whole sorry affair neared its nadir, it came the time to shine for the lowly conventional forces.
Somewhere in the LCCC, the desire was formulated to create a tank that could fill in for light to medium staples such as Shadow Hawks, Hermes IIs, Sentinels and the like. No expanse was spared to create an off-the-shelf solution to the problem. And thus, the GAL-1000 Galleon Advanced Tank was born. Greater reach for its main and secondary weaponry, a greater field of fire for its side-mounted weapons, a quiet and modern engine, all in the same, trusty armored shell that has protected Galleons for nearly three centuries.
