IC: "We'll take them.  We will miss you for the next two months.  Get the price down as low as you can.  What backup will you need on this trip?"

OOC: Will I need to hand Deb 3.2 million to get the vehicles back to Nejiro?  The money spent on repairs can come a little later.  When will the money for the off-world order be due?

“I will take a squad of the infantry and one of the as-techs.” She looks at her pad. “These are the people I would like to take. I will do what I can on the price but 1.25 is the lowest I can see them going. From what I have found out about them that amount will cover what the CO owes on world and just might get him passage off rock. I know he will cut on the others, not that is something they don’t have coming.”

all she will need for the money is an account number. one does not travel with that kind of money in hand.

transport will be taken care of on world before she goes ... otherwise can't go

OK so to start things for 10/11

“The new commander for the former Nazakawa Militia has asked if the GSF would provide OpFor for them to see how well the training they have been doing is working.”
“I think that we can do that for them.” Meiyo lets Tai-sa Zinni know. ”I am happy that MAWS has been working with them.  Inform the commander the GSF will help them with their training.”
“Arigatō Chiji.” He bows to her.
“No, it is I who must Thank You for all of the hard work you have put in. I do not want to think of how things could have been without all of you at MAWS putting in the extra work.”

“GSF command to all unit you will prep a force to work with some of the local militia. You will be working as a raider force around Nakazawa Shiro to test out the militia.”

“I think this not something that GSF units should be doing. They are here to hunt Jagā tōzoku-dan. They are also useful to deal with these Word of Blake and Kokuryu-kai problems. Training forces that are from Kegareta ichizoku that does not even have a new leader I do not understand. MAW should be doing all of their training to make sure the problems are gone.” Elisio looks at Gullia. “The GSF is a group of Katana o uru after all. Most are from realms that are/were not friends of the Dragon.”
“The GSF maybe sell swords as you say but they are in they employ of the Chiji as are you. She has shinrai in them to do this.” Gulia looks to Elisio. “You should have the same trust. I will make the transport arrangements for the GSF units.” She turns and walks from the room. “Baka!”

So you all get to play OpFor the militia that was .... now they are.
normal forces for the GSF.
Have fun all

“Sir, do you have any idea of what the GSF is going to use?”
“No idea, that is how it should be. We just have to setup the best we can.”
“Hai sir. The infantry will do what they can, so they are call in for the Saracens.”
“Just make sure the others know what they need to do.”
“The Gun teams will setup to make things fun and the others will use the terrain the best they can.”

Just a couple of weeks to the next mission.

“You have the training area set?” Gulia will ask.
“Hai, Gulia-san, the area will have the Militia working to get civilians out of a residential/industrial to bunkers. The terrain around the site will have some scattered woods, roads with a river/bridge crossing. The training officers feel this is the best mix to teach the militia how to get civilians to safety during a bandit raid.”
“The Militia will be using what they have on hand?”
“Correct, they will have units roll in at different times to reflect that they will have to respond to a raid not a training mission.”
“Very good. I know the GSF will pull a few tricks out as well.”

As the group is watching the broadcast from Hilo about the new security forces that will be working with the city’s militia one of the other students comes running into the room. “Hay all of you have to come quick.”
“Why? What is so important you come barging in like this.” Anna asks.
Trying to catch his breath. “A bunch of NPO just picked up Samuel Sanada.”
“What??” Hua asks whit a look of disbelief on her face.
“YA, they are taking him to the Dean’s office right now.”
“Let’s go.” Audra gets up heading for the door.

Outside the building with all of the campus admin offices a group on NPO at the entrance.
“Wow look at them, they are not playing around.” Looking at the officers if full tactical gear.
“I wounder what is going on?” one of the other students asks.
“Nobody knows.” Another student answers.
“Well, whatever he did he got someone pissed.” From a different student.

Inside the Dean’s office.
“Dean we have orders to bring him in. We have a few complaints and the local NPO commander wants to speak with him now,”
“Look I need to see the warrant and inform his parents before you can take him.”
“Very well.” The officer hands over the warrants.
Looking over the warrants. “I see these are very serious charges.” Looking at Samuel. “If I were you, I would make sure my father got some very good lawyers.”
“You just make sure my father knows what is going on.” Looking at the officers. “All of you will rule this day when my father gets done with all of you.”
“Sure kid, we know just who you are and this time you bit off more then you and your family can chew.”
“OH, and we have other officers rounding up his buddies. Here are the warrants for them as well.”

Outside the building.
“They got some heavy hardware.” Audra whispers to Ana looking at the NPO officers. “Stay frosty.”
“Do you have any idea why they took him in?”
“What mister sunshine?” Audra looks at Ana. “From this show a bigger fish got fed up with is act.”

“So just what are the charges you have?” The lawyer asks the inspector.
“Well Samuel and his friends have been looking to set themselves up as yakuza. They moved on a few different venues that they figured would make them a big deal. The big problem they made is the killings of some small time Kyōaku-han.”
“What if they did by some chance have to defend themselves and these Kyōaku-han ended up dead, that would be a service to the people not something to go to prison for.”
“Had it been self-defense you would be correct. They did not act in self-defense they executed them, then boosted to others the same would happen to them if they did not fall in line.”
“You are going to take the word of some street Kyōaku-han that these fine young men are looking to become a crime group?”
“That and the surveillance videos of them in the act.” The inspector looks over the lawyer. “You get paid a lot of money to fix things for his family, but this is not something that will get fixed.” Picking up a pad and handing it to the lawyer. “This is just part of what we have, my people are looking to see what more is out there. These fine young people you are talking about are spoiled children that took on way more than they can handle.” Sitting down. “If I were you, I would tell Samuel’s father that he should get the boy and his friends off world, if he can. They made some powerful people mad, and they will not like it that these fine young people were looking to cut into what they do.”
“If these Kyōaku-han that you are talking of were so well connected why has someone not done something already?”
“Because the first few were just that street Kyōaku-han. But these boys just took out someone that was a longtime friend of Uncle Henry and the only reason they are not face down in some river is that somebody turned the NPO on to what these children have been doing, that’s why.” The inspector looks at the lawyer. “I have been informed from higher authority that if they some how do not make it to trial, I would not have to fill out all the normal paperwork that goes with a prisoner or prisoners escaping.”
“I see.”
“Someone does not want this too public.”

Need to play a bit of catch up, First had California, then Daughter's Birthday then Halloween. This week is the first I am not busy almost all day each day lol.

Either way I think I see what's up for next weekend, so VoH is looking to field:

- MAD-5S cause it's pretty and makes me happy
- Hermes since mission 93 didn't actually have me using it.
- PUMA FINALLY a mission where it won't be dead weight... Well, that remains to be seen.
- Maxim because again never actually seen a map with it on it yet.
  - Tag Platoon
  - Xeno
  - LRM Troopers
  - Flamer Troopers

It's a nice variety for field exercises, with the MAD being a huge brute, the Hermes being a speedy little dude. The Puma being a slow moving weapons platform, and the Maxim able to cause issues all over with the Xeno/LRM/Flamers

Before I fully commit to this, dealing damage in this Exercise feels mean and potentially rude, so will we be using training weapons, or programmed weapons that will cause simulation of the damage caused?

Also do units 'deployed' for the 93 mission count, so I should mark it as such on my sheets?

“Seaton, I want you to take your unit plus the alpha Bandit with the BA for this training mission.”
“No problem. We both can use some time in the field. Who do we get for support?”
“Take Cassandran and Rory.”
“Sounds good. Fast and light we will make for a good strike unit. The Militia will get to eat our dust.”
“Don’t be so full of yourself, they did spend time at MAWS after all.”
“True and they do know the training area as well, we will keep them and ourselves on point.”
“Good get everyone ready to roll out.”

OK so this is what Devondra will be brining to the party
Locust, Tarantula, Karnov with friends and Bandit with friends.

“Sir the Tech’s have finished the modification to the one Partisan.”
“Good the ADA unit will be a bit more flexible now.”
”It is a good thing that Howaitogōsuto is on line. We will get a second changed over with the next run.”
“Maybe, maybe not Howaitogōsuto needs to make money, and we are not going to make them turn a profit if we buy all the product, they turn out each month. I think maybe three four months down the road we may get four more to change up the second one.”

“Hay Kiah, do you have a few?” Logan will ask her.
“Sure. What brings you all the way here?” She asks.
“You, getting you to Hilo is like getting a Tiger to change his stripes.” He looks at her. “Yes, I know you have your hands full with all that is going on be you have been putting this off way too long.”
“OK, OK so we’ll talk.”
“OK, we have been doing well with the double nickel kits and the first batch actuators are off the line. We will be rolling the seventy tonner kits in a couple of months.”
“That’s great. So, what is the big deal for you to come here?”
“We need to get moving on the next sets. To get all the machinery out this way takes time and with all that is happening back in the sphere it may get harder to get it. We need to order the seventy tonner machines and what are we going to do for lights?”
“Well, what is the most common one?”
“From what digging the crew has done that would be thirty-five.”
“So, then we go with them. But that will be it for a while. We don’t want to many eyes out this way and money is something I need to keep an eye on.”
“No problem boss. We will need to look into a bigger building when all the new gear hits rock.”
“I understand that, why the money thing.”

At The Dockside
“So, you need my help in getting some items for one of you salvaged ‘Mechs.” Nicolas will start. “Please give me a list of what you are looking for.”

“Well, you may want to talk with the Diamond Sharks about the actuators you are looking for. The Fire Moth as they call it is the same tonnage and just a bit slower, but your techs should be able to mod them for your needs. I would also over that any repair Items you way want for the Mercury as well. I understand they still use them is the second line units they use as security on worlds they have taken.”

“So, how have you progressed on your venture to manufacture ammunition for the LB-X auto cannons?”

At the opening for Nejiro Polytech.
“Himiko, I would like to introduce you to these fine young men. I think you just might be interested in the skills they have.”
“Arigatō Sugai-sama.” She will give a deep bow to Amalaa.
“Onegaishimasu Amalaa-san is fine.”
“Hai, Amalaa-san.” Bows once more. “Onegaishimasu, sit down.” Himiko will point to the chairs around the table.
“Arigatō.” The one that the others look to will bow for the group, the others will do so, and they all will sit down. “Sugai-sama informed us that you are looking for skilled people.”
“I can use people of many skills.” She will look over the group. “If I can be so bold, what skills are you offering?”
“We are not very long finished with our time serving the Dragon and we are in need of employment. Getting home cost much more than expected.”
“I see. What were your jobs with the Dragon?”
“We were crews for the armored support units.” Looking at the others. “We are all skilled in vehicle repairs as well.”
“That is very good to know.” She will have them fill out information on her pad. “I will check into what we have open at this time and get back to you. Arigatō.”

"So the timing is good we are about to do an off world order the equipment we need will be added to this , also I will have adjacent buildings erected to accommodate both the 70 ton and the 35 ton manufacture." Kiah turns to her com unit "Dalton come in here please."

Dalton enters the office smiles and approaches Logan who riases and they embrace briefly. "It is good to see you cousin"

"It I wonderful to see you in one piece Dalt, we were pleased to see you at the wedding and to hear you overcame your wounds. You and I need to catch up ."

"Well, you can do that later tonight" Kiah smiled at them both " Logan has given us some great news we are in position to expand the actuators production to produce 70 ton and 35 ton kits. Please get the list of needed equipment for this end from Logan and additional to our equipment order.".

"Yes Jarl"

"We also need to have 2 additional building erected to accomadate these manufacturing,  so put Logan in touch with our engineers so they can look at the equipment we are getting and build the proper establishments."

"Keep me posted on the progress of the building, and Logan has brought to my attention that the ball is being dropped a bit re out factories so please see that I am scheduled to do a quarterly inspection of them all from now on."

"Yes Jarl"

"Okay you two dismissed and get it done" Kiah waves her hand and the men leave.

"We're still having problems renting space in the archipelago."  Tristan explained as Fuka handed her datapad to Nicolas, who skimmed through the long list of parts.  "The Nejiro government is a bit touchy about volatile ammo."

"Hmm, this is quite a lot."  Nicolas mused as he read the list.  "I'll look into what I have in my own stocks."

"That's everything we need for both 'Mechs."  Said Fuka.  "Thanks for telling us about the Diamond Sharks, although I guess we'd have to challenge them to a Trial of Possession for the necessary equipment.  Appearances and such.  But if we can get at least some of what we need from them, we can fix those 'Mechs a lot faster than if we machined the parts ourselves."

“Enyo-san walk with me.”
“Hai Kiko-sama.”
“The GSF will be running a training mission for the militia forces that were part of the Nazakawa Dai Ichizoku. They have been working at MAWS and have shown no problems. However, I would like you and some f your unit to help with this training mission. I think you would spot any who still think that the Kokuryu-kai are the true path.”
“I will select the proper people for this and if we find any, we will report back to you Kiko-sama.”
“Arigatō.”

“Burūsutōmu, we will be partaking in the upcoming militia training mission with other members of the GSF. I will be leading our force and will be taking two of the Strikers and one of the Karnovs. We are to put the militia through their paces, and they will bo the same for us. Be ready to move out and I want those who are on this mission to keep your eyes open, They were the militia that protected the Nazakawa lands.”

“Redi Broeske, may I have some of your time?” Gulia will ask.
“Sicher …. Sure.”
“For this mission we would like to do your normal mission, helping the local forces.” Gulia will look at her. “To give the true feeling of a bandit raid your unit will deploy about five minuets into the mission time.”
“Understood we are now part of the defenders and will work with them to get the civilians out.”
“Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis.”
“Ie, watashitachi ni kono chōsen o ataete kurete arigatō.” Hildegard will respond. “May I say your Deutsch ist sehr gut.”
“Danke, Anata no nihongo mo jōzuda to omoimasu.” The two ladies will bow to each other.

“Haia will you please inform the others from your unit that they will be acting as the relief force.”
“Hai, Gulia-san.”

“OK people we know our mission and we also need to show we are not Nakazawa Militia. Our missions are to get the civilians out of the AO, keep as much of our forces intact until support arrives. We all have worked hard and do have a lot to prove.”
“We are ready.” From the unit.
“All right then, Alpha you are recon, Bravo and Charlie you are to get the civies out. Delta you are with the armor, and we make them pay for every centimeter.  Motor teams alpha and bravo you are to help with the civies. Charlie you setup to the backdoor open.”

“Well, that could have gone much better.” Seaton looks at Cassandra.
“What, getting shot down by an infantry squad with a class ten gun is a bad thing?” She responds with a big smile. “Having the pilot of your VTOL getting close to four dug in infantry squads with field guns is not one of your better ideas ….. sir.”
“Watch it you, I know Kiah likes you but take care.”
“Sir, it was not the best thing you have tried to do.”
“I know. It is the fact that they were better setup then I gave them credit for.”
“Well, we were not the only ones that got schooled today. A couple of others got to see that infantry dug in with big guns can do some heavy damage.” Rory will add. “The Lt found out that his driving skills are not as good as he thinks. Blowing the air out from under his Bandit in front of one squad with three others in range was bad. I think that three of the four hit him. He is lucky that they were training rounds.”
“Ya, Kiah would not like that if they were live. But this is what training is for. Rory you are correct in that we did get schooled today.”

“If I can have your attention.” Gulia speaking to all the GSF units. “Due to how the training mission went down the AAR will take a bit longer, so all of you will be staying in the area for a few days.”

“Sho-sho Saganami this is Tai-sa Imai, she is just in with the latest DCA supply run.” The Talon Sergeant introduces the new officer. She gives a bow of respect to Meiyo.
“Welcome Tai-sa, please sit down.”
“Thank you Sho-sho.” She sits.
“So, what bring you to Nejiro?”
“I have new orders for Tai-sa Westfield.”
“I see. Anything you can tell me about them?”
“Not at this time. But I am sure that the Tai-sa will share them with as soon as he can.”
“Is there anything I can do for you?”
‘Thank you but not at this time.” She looks to Meiyo. “Tai-sho Thomas said to give you his warmest greetings and congratulations.” She looks into her bag and pulls out a bottle. “Lord’s Water Sake from the Tai-sho,” She puts it on the desk. “I have a couple of cases he sent as well plus so other items for you and your son.”
“Please let him know I thank him, and hope all is well with him.”
She hands pad to Meiyo. “This is a list of the supplies for the DCA units on world. I also have orders for all the other units as well.”
“Thank you.” Meiyo looks at the pad. “I know the commanders will put these items to good use. As for the orders I see most are to get ready to move.”
“Yes, they will be taking up new posts.”
“I will see that they will be ready.”
“I do not want to be impolite, but I must see Tai-sa Westfield with these orders as they are time sensitive.”
“I understand, please do what you are here to do.” Meiyo stands and walks the Tai-sa out.
As they are walking down the hall Jack is coming from the other direction.
Tai-sa Imai nods to Jack. “Sho-ko.”
Jack bows back. “Tai-sa.” He goes into Meiyo’s office.
Walking back into her office after seeing Tai-sa Imai to the elevator. “So, what brings you to my humble office husband?”
“Lunch.” Jack offers with a big smile. “So, who is the new Tai-sa?”
“She is Tai-sa Imai Kiko, and she brings orders for Tai-sa Westfield and the DCMS/DCA units here.”
“That cannot be good. Do you think they are going to pull him and the Tengoku out?”
“Well looking at this supply manifest they are pulling plus the full Task Force she came in with ….. Yes. I guess it is good the marines are done with their training.” She hands Jack the pad. “It is also good that the Dogs got in some training with the Marines as well.”
Looking over the data. ‘Wow. Well, they are keeping Kona, 565th, 268th, 918th and the ships from TF. 3068-3 here.”
“Well Kona is a given as her uncle is looking to keep her somewhat safe. The 565th and 268th do not surprise me as they are DCA security, and they have to cover the DCMS/DCA properties here. The 918th is still rebuilding so keeping them here is also not too surprising also. Keeping the ships from the Task Force is. I would think they would want the Dove back and they can use the transports with all that is happening in the Combine.”
“When we figure out what the brass is thinking one of two things will happen. We become part of them or we’re dead.”
“I don’t like either choice dear. The other thing that bothers me is that they sent in technical support crews for the equipment from back in April.”
“Well, we do need the help with all that hi-end gear.”
“I know and asked back when we made that run for the help and they said they could not. So why send them in now?”
“Well from the list it is not just tech crews but their families as well. I would bet they were looking for people that were too old or unsuited for line service but want to do what they can for the Dragon.”
“Could be or they know something that we should.”
“So, I will have the boys see what they can find out.” Jack puts his arms around Meiyo and gives her a kiss. “So, how about lunch?”
She turns and returns his kisses. “Sure.” They head out.

At the training site command center.
“Jasmine, Seaton and Amy may I have some of your time?” Gulia will ask them. They will go into one of the classrooms. “May I ask why Sergeant Kingsley was put in charge of the mission. I know that Tai-I Musashi and his team were at first going to be part of the response force but was changed to the attack force. Each of you have rank over the Sergeant and should have been in charge. I understand that Colonel Grayjoy had you Amy in charge of the IronBorn force due to the make of your force.”

"Personally, I wasn't in a mech well suited to being as far forward as Sergeant Kingsley was able to be. However, with it being a training mission, having someone not normally in charge, take command, elevates the training and spreads out that learning. I mean, how often in a regular op will the Sergeant have a chance to lead a force like that. In my case, just working with the GSF more is training, I've been on world barely a month or two, and seeing Kiah's Hammers work so well, even with the Karnov shot down showed that we should have all been moving faster."

"I don't disagree with how the Sergeant ran the op either. He made sure to have good LoS to what was going on, was forward enough to see what was going on in the city, had the heavies pull back soon enough that it wouldn't be an issue, and even though the transports that came out to meet us just turned and booked it out of there, let us know that there are possible infantry in the woods they made it to. He also outlined how the hover transports might try to swing around to our rear, which while it didn't happen, showed he was totally on the ball. Aside from elbowing his stealth armor instead of using his radio, I'm not sure I would have done a better job in command, and now we know what the Sergeant is capable of."

"The only person that might have been better to command, in hindsight, might have been Seaton. Kiah's Hammers had enough time in town to have lunch. If the Karnov wasn't shot down, they likely would have had control of a large chunk of the city. It wouldn't have been enough to own the city, but likely would have had the chance to do whatever we were pretending to do"
