So I was thinking of the Vedette the "Generic/Budget" tank and how I would have done it differently and I came up with this.....

The Sherman Medium Tank, focused for low budget militias and planetary guards.

I like it for what it is intended. 

With the hull mounted LRM-15 it makes me think more of the m-3 Grant/Lee than the turreted m-4 Sherman

I might personally lose the flamers for SRM inferno ammo and LRM Frag or Smoke ( 1 ton Inferno 1 ton of Frag or smoke).

I was coming to a similar conclusion for vehicles in this weight range as to payload, though I went for the single SRM-6 for LOGCAP reasons.
Saying that because the equipment isn't up-to-the-minute, bleeding-edge tech therefore not a threat is like saying an M2 Browning isn't dangerous to modern infantry because it is 100 years old.

I really wanted a 2nd ton of SRM ammo too, and originally had another launcher or 2 in there as well.
But I didn't have the AC20 proof armor that I wanted  :'(
I also didn't want to go with the cheese route of 3x LRM5's just to save the ton.
And I really wanted to have some major Anti-Infantry ability, it started out with 4-5 MGs, then decided that the Vee-Flamer w/ alternate ammo options sounded good.
I figure they are meant to be deployed in Platoon+ amounts so different ammo could be loaded by different tanks in the unit.

Though, I might consider a variant with LRM10 however and free up 2-3 tons for more close range firepower.
