It moves the plasma rifles to the sides of the tank and mounts them in the sponsons alongside the regular machineguns now. So it can still fire its plasma guns forward or in wide arcs to cover its sides and then backwards to cover the rear of the tank.
Heavy Ferro covers the tank, providing even more protection. Instead of the expensive supercharger the tank instead makes due with an ECM suite to suit the very technological battlefield of the Dark Age.
