Daishi411, if your thinking back around 2005-2007 several of those releases were classic sculpt returns. As well Fan Financing was getting under way at that time I believe.

Agreed...I honestly didn't think that would see the light of day anytime soon.

I hope the Ostwar is sculpted around the same size/scale of the origanl, Ral Partha Ostroc and Ostsol.

Extra arms or perhaps just the portion below the elbow to reflect the differnt versions shown in the source materials would be great.

I only stared collecting minis in 08, so just after
"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."

I think everyone will be quite pleased with this one.  And there may or may not be a wide variety of alt configs coming...

Now I will plan on buying several. I just need to decide what faction I'll paint them.

I'd have to guess a possible Thor II B since there's a MW:DA Miniature of it.

Cool!  I always wondered why they didn't do that with the original 3050 OmniMechs.  At least IWM is making the bits available so we can do our own conversions now.

On a side note, the Thor II is once again (like the Mad Cat II, III and IV or the Vulture IV) a update of one of the old OmniMech designs, which is head and shoulders better than the original.  I can't wait to see the sculpt.

Mduaben IWM does have parts available for the majority of the 3050 omni resculpts, they are just online exclusives.

There is also Dak's Omnimech guide floating around that tells you what parts you need for what variants of each omni!

Don't forget we also have the Vulture III coming, and it looks awesome.  Sentinel373 did an awesome job with it.

Yes, its a great resource!  I'm currently using it as a guide to moding some of the OmniMech's in my 3rd Bear Guard project.  O0

Unfortunately they are missing things...such as the Dasher C Right Arm is available...but the Dasher C Left Arm is not. You can't do this mech with 1 arm, and the funny thing is that the Left & Right Arm's are the exact same! LRM 5 each...so not sure why someone couldn't just do a mirror of the arm to make the left.

Well, we know it's the one in TRO 3145,  so a simple glance at that art tells us what it will look like.

Exactly.  Or, if they don't have the book (yet, right?), the Master Unit List shows it as well.

I love the Stalker II's artwork.  If the sculpt matches the artwork well, and the miniature is scaled like a proper 85 ton mech, I'll be picking up at least a couple of those.  Shouldn't be too hard to mod them into a STK-3F

I am just curious, what are the odds of adding variant bits for the Royal variant?

And? Why would that matter? People are going use that mini as a stand in for the older Stalker anyway, it would highly convenient if it has variant bits for Stalker 3Fb approximation.

See:
Stalker 2 is a solid buisness move.  MWO styled Stalker > Ral partha Stalker.  Would have the same perk that the dragon 2 and BK had by doubling its uses for old and new eras.

Your Logic seems circular.  If people are using the newer mini to proxy the older mini, then indeed, "Why would it matter" if it had variant bits?   ???  A proxy is a proxy is a proxy.  If anything, they should make a variant using the old Stalker, that includes the Royal variant bits.   O0

I certainly wouldn't mind a few variant bits, as long as it doesn't end up being something completely different like what happened to the Dragon/Dragon II.
