Good song.  Very Celtic.  In Music and in subject matter.  Many an Irish and Scotsman was labeled an outlaw - some justly and some unjustly.

I can play this on my guitar but it's missing something without the bagpipes!

He's apparently a minor celebrity in Ireland due to his song Galway Girl being a pitch-perfect Irish folk ballad from a Texas-raised Virginian who got his start in Nashville.

what I'm listening to: Highway Star -- Deep Purple, but as covered in lang belta for The Expanse by Cory Todd.

Namang na gonya take my ship
Mi gonya race it til im xush
Namang na gonya beat my ship
im gonya bek da fash da lush

That's a good song, too.

Steve Earle has his own show on Outlaw Country, another sat station I listen to.  I guess he's really good friends with Shooter Jennings, he also has his own show on Outlaw Country, plays a lot of his dad's music actually, then he'll turn around and play some NIN or Devo or Johnny Cash, all over the map.  Shooter has his own stuff but he NEVER plays his own music.  Not once.  He won't toot his own horn, so gotta respect that attitude.
