Are there any pictures yet of the wasp? I am looking forward to that one for sure!

Not of Masters yet, it is nearing the end of sculpting and looks good so far.

So sounds like mid to late February release on the wasp? That makes me all sad... Can't wait to order a lance or two of them. Provided the local store is done playing footsie with IWM and can start ordering stuff for me.

Oh no!  Is the insanely long production run of that particular Flea sculpt coming to a close?

Thanks Speck! It's exciting to see more classic designs coming out!

Looks like Locust or Wolverine for 3rd quarter right?

It's beginning to look like this year is going to be a real strain on the wallet...

Thanks Speck!

I thought so too but not so sure now. Hopefully Speck can release SOME information about which classics are currently authorized to release but...

Can't name any but we have a list fleshed out through next year doing one per quarter.

No worries, knowing there will be another two this year and 4 next year is more than enough information considering the list of classics

Released:
Ostscout
Shadow Hawk

Scheduled:
Wasp
Valkyrie

Unknown:
Battlemaster
Longbow
Goliath
Warhammer
Archer
Marauder
Thunderbolt
Crusader
Rifleman
Griffin
Scorpion
Phoenix Hawk
Stinger

Possibly NOT on the authorized list:
Locust
Wolverine

Now, based on what Speck has been able to confirm it looks like IWM has been autrhorized to produce a total of 12 classics. That would mean maybe 3 per weight class. So far that would mean the lights are complete after the Valkyrie (Ostscout, Wasp, Valkyrie), and two more mediums. Thinking about it though it doesn't make a lot of sense as there are only 4 PP assaults that have to be replaced but... ah who knows, its all pure speculation anyway but it does make a small bit of sense.

This kind of speculation is how rumors get started.

Well some of what I have on my list are listed there........ but nothing to do with how many per weight class.

Valkyrie is the on the Q2 release schedule Speck posted, so maybe May if we are lucky on that puppy. Not sure on the other two... only paid attention to listed classics.

iirc the last few sets of releases have been mid quarter. the middle to the end of may would fit into that window.

I thought I read somewhere that the Ostol and Ostroc were no longer listed as unseen. Though yes I noticed I had missed the Marauder II a day later.

Since we've gotten the Ostscout, I figure they're probably in line for a re-do as well. That's all I'm thinking.

The Osts are legally no longer Unseen, but they are getting redesigned anyway.

Hey, some people like 'em...

...but not me. I think the new Ostscout is a huge improvement over the old one, and I don't even care about the retcon with its hands. As far as I'm concerned, 'Mechs should always have two hands unless there's a compelling in-game reason.

I like the mechs just not the art lol

Yeah, I should be getting my Ostscouts soon as well as the Shadow Hawk and Stalker II. Can't wait to get an up close look at that fat legged Ostscout. Bigger question though is what faction colors to use...

Well it's not much of a ret-con considering that the mech's record sheet did include the hand actuators on both arms (as far as i know).

I do like the re-design myself, i think it's a massive improvement over both the original art and the re-seen art. However, i do think that the miniature's model is a bit... off? The legs seem a bit too THICC or maybe the torso is a bit too small, not sure which.
