Any word giving on the remaining OST series of mechs?
Anthony Scroggins hinted on his Patreon that CGL may have requested some Ost mechs (more precisely Ostsol). He did Ostscout some time ago and IWM has a mini based on that art. But you didn't hear it from me. :D

Did you paint the chest to make it look like damage?  Maybe lodge a 'gauss slug' into the dimple?

It’s too shallow to look like a ballistic impact.  I don’t even think most people will notice.  If this were 40k, I’d modify it to look like the result of a hammer blow - it could pass for that.

I’m looking forward to the Griffin -1S.  The Griffin’s the only plastic mini so far that I’ve had an unfixable (but minor) issue with - its chestplate is a little sunken in.

Will old minis of the same variants be retired?  Does that ever happen at IWM?

Mine had a similar issue. One of its arms was also slightly deformed.

Yes and no. You can still find the old sculpts of the 3050 omnis in the archive. The older blood asp and Orion models are still out there too. Unsure what happened to the long legs catapult or the original battle hawk, commando, or wolfhound... maybe they didn’t survive the move from RP?

Molds have limited use and they can be damaged. If they are worn out to unusable state I wouldn't create a newer one as these were old sculpts.

Those had new resculpts done near end of RP when production molds wore out. So they only exist in master molds now somewhere.

Wow. Nice to think that the original Catapult (That I prefer) is still out there somewhere.

I am going to have to check the MotFN threads, I actually prefer the look of the old MCG Catapult and think the new one is a good close look- have to see if any of the old metal matches.  As it is, I have a LOT of the Box/AS lance pack Catapuls, which is why I sliced guns off a MWDA fig and the missile pods off the mini to make a K style.

Have the 1st quarter release of the locust, catapult and griffin been assigned sku numbers yet? I would like to put those on order at my friendly local games store.

Speck...will these be the official listings (model descriptions, not part numbers)? Just want to get them listed on the back end of the site for when they launch.

Thanks!

Well . . . we are 12 days away from the next quarter, any announcement for it or the next year?

Hi Speck,

I fully understand that COVID-19 has thrown a serious spanner in the Mechworks and that there are still a lot of uncertainties.

Can you shed any light (current status, estimated date) on the Q1 2020 releases (Locust, Griffin, Catapult) at this point ?

Any further information on Anthony Scroggins' Ostsol concept sketch (i.e. upcoming metal model ?) would be most appreciated
as well.

Good health to all,

Q1 was in stores I thought- it just did not get much time before they had to shut down.  But I have not kept up on Ohio's state, when do your current orders expire?

Will we get a release schedule for the rest of the year or has it totally thrown things out the window?

Q1 is not in stores, there was a 3D sculpting issue on one (or maybe 2) of the minis that needed touching up. Last I had heard before IWM was forced to shut down due to Governor orders...they were almost ready to be shipped...then boom, shut down.

Until we hear from Speck, that's all the info I have being a retailer, so take it however you want.
