Title: The Hunters Book 3 of TotC

Ok I have not FINISHED reading it yet I am about halfway through but what I am trying to figure out is the Black Dragon Society trying to sabotage the mission or what?  I am trying to figure out why the Nekokami are there?? So can somebody give me some help without a lot of spoiling this is the 1st time I am reading the book.

The Nekokami have nothing to do with the Black Dragons.

It's been a while since I last read that book so I don't recall how much I can say without spoiling stuff, so I'll just leave it at that. Their purpose and who sent them is revealed later, though whether in this book or the next is also something I don't recall.
