Come celebrate the release of the Battletech Mercenaries Kickstarter with the DFW Mechwarriors Guild.
We will be hosting a Classic BattleTech Grinder, Mercenaries Swap meet and Painting Contest. So: bring your best lance of mechs, unwanted minis, and the miniature you are most proud of and we will see you there!
What: Classic BattleTech Grinder. Miniature Swap meet. Painting Contest.
When: Sunday, August, 25th.
Where: Generation X Games and Comics, 3504 Harwood Rd, Ste 304, Bedford, TX. 12pm to 5:30pm.
Rules: Four Canon Mech designs with a legal record sheet from the Master Unit List. One from each weight class, any tech, any era, any BV. 3/4 Piloting and Gunnery.
If you want to bring a particular piece of advanced equipment, please make sure to read up on the rules for how it functions. We will have plenty of rule books and experienced players on Hand, but it saves time to know what it does ahead of the game.
Floating Crits, Engine Explosions, Alternative Ammo, Movement Modifier dice, BattleTech initiative deck.
Proxies ARE allowed, just make sure they are the same weight class and you make it clear what they are during the game.
Consider bringing a second set of mechs just in case you go through your first set, as this is a fast paced destruction derby of a format.
Painting Contest: One painted official BattleTech Miniature. One vote per person.
