Letter of the Law - Trenton’s Mech Company
« on: 02 November 2024, 18:19:30 »
I just finished Letter of the Law (which I thoroughly enjoyed!) and was trying to put together a list of the mechs in the featured Free Worlds Guard company. The only gap right now is the recon lance of Trenton’s company. All I could find was that it had a Valkyrie as the lance leader. I was wondering if Philip Lee had the rest of the lance fleshed out?

I'm looking through my notes, and since Recon Lance didn't get much screen time, I unfortunately only had two members listed: Lt. Fugate in a Valkyrie and an unnamed sergeant in a -5G Stinger. So let's correct this oversight and put the lance's staff sergeant in a Vixen and the other sergeant in a Gambit. (I've added these to my notes for the future, so maybe we'll get to see them on-screen sometime down the line…)

I'm glad you liked the book! If you haven't already done so, I'd greatly appreciate if you wrote a review on Amazon—or wherever you prefer—for it. Every bit helps!

Thanks! I'd previously missed the Stinger but just noticed it is mentioned in chapter 1. I really appreciated that the recon lance was used to actually conduct reconnaissance and therefore wasn't present in the brawling. I was taking notes on the company's composition while reading the book and I hope to eventually paint up Habeas Corpus and the rest of "Siren" company.
