(And if this isn't the right spot to post requests, lemme know and I'll gladly yoink the post.)

This is a great place for requests to go in my opinion.  I'll pencil the Bolla into my Vehicle of the Week planning and go ahead and put the Raptor II on the 'Mech schedule.  If anyone else wants the Raptor II, please let me know - for now I'm going to go ahead and field it.

Forgive me if someone's already suggested this, but has there been a write-up on the Dire Wolf?

As of yet, this board's got no Dire Wolf, nore up to now a request for it.

Many of the classicmechs like the Vindi, Enforcer, Timbi, Stormcrow, Battlemaster, etc got write ups over the many years this has been going on (is this the eighth year of this now?) though it ebbed and flowed a bit.  Some authors at some times prefering to focus on obscure mechs and pass over classics, thinking that most people knew thouse mechs so well that they didn't need indepth coverage.  Many other authors, especaly in my time and after, went after these mechs quite agressively (they were always well requested, so an author's indulgance to requests was often a factor).

That said, the old articles are gone from these boards (though there's still an archive for the moment) and many feel that they should stay that way so as to alow new takes on the covered mechs.  I would love to see a new Dire Wolf article, for my part.

I'll take the Arctic Wolf, and if you want you can toss it into the schedule. I've got the original, the first Omni and the new second omni the Arctic Wolf II.

I would want to publicly thank Kotetsu again for nailing the Paladin, and - as a confessing Solaris VII nut - request him to cover any and all other Solaris units that he feels like doing.

Looking at the main page, it looks like no one's picked up the Dire Wolf as of yet.  I've got a bit of free time comming up at the end of July, and I'd be happy to have a crack at it then.

Well, there are 9+3+? canon configurations (nine with letters, three named veriants where the load out is very clear, and a few mentioned in books where the load out is mainly guessed at, and maybe some that post date the MUL, or are absant from it), so there's definatly plenty to say.  Its been a while since I've worked with someone, so I'd be happy to team up for one of the biggest of the big mechs.

May I request one of our more verbose contributors to cover the Turkina at great lengths? The "Talk to me" thread makes me want to read a full treatise on this bird! The original article seems to have been written in 06 and isn't easily found.

In theroy, I could do that one too.  I'm a sucker for top end Clan assualt mechs (something I often take heat for from my opponents, for any number of reasons).  But, if I'm to do the Dire Wolf, which I would like to be a part of very much, then it might not be right for me to try and monopolize the super-mech articles.  Though I will note that doing the Dire Wolf and Turkina close together would offer a nice contrast between two of the players in that class.

I can handle it and would enjoy doing so.  I've placed a reservation down but I'll be happy to move it if someone else wants a shot.

The Woodsman and Lupus will be done as a two thread double-header article on the 10th to go ahead and get them covered.  I've got time to do the writing right now.

And while at it, another request for a unit very dear to me - the Yao Lien. I'll even find out if I'm able/allowed to say something about it. :)

The Onslaught is ready for the next open slot. Also did a write-up of the Great Turtle. The Colossus is currently being a PITA, but I'll eventually beat it into submission.

Also would like to confirm that someone did the Sasquatch. Since it seems the WoBbles made use of it, it might need a write-up if none has been done.

Finally, would like to request the No-Dachi, if it hasn't been done recently. Would at least force me to expand my library a bit (unless Catalyst is about to reprint or update TRO:3067).

Well, Herb does say it's in development.

Well, Herb does say it's in development.

They did a round of errata for it, too, plus it's the only major volume of sheets that's completely MIA in the modern lineup, so it's bound to be in the pipeline somewhere along with completing the various Unabridged volumes for missing aerospace and WiGE units and fixing the mess that is RS3039U's vehicle section and the nightmare that is redoing all of TROVA and TRO3057R from the ground up.  When any of that is coming out of the pipeline, I don't know, but they're working on it.

My sympathies to the poor fellows (or ladies) dealing with those last two items.

Also would like to confirm that someone did the Sasquatch. Since it seems the WoBbles made use of it, it might need a write-up if none has been done.

There was an article done on it by wantec back in January of 2010.  He may want to repost that.

I'm not sure the No-Dachi ever had an article written to begin with.  If it did, it's not in the archives anymore, which isn't a safe place for it to be anyway.  To clarify, are you looking for someone to do it or are you reserving the 'Mech for your own future work?

I thought I read somewhere that a lot of the warships just weren't really compatible with the construction rules, so a lot of them had to be rebuilt by hand, and as a result TPTB were gonna reprint them to TW/SO-style sheets as they needed said ships. There's a lot of warships that were remade for the Jihad Turning Points pdf series, plus a couple in some of the other Jihad print sourcebooks and TROs 3075 and 3085.

There was an article done on it by wantec back in January of 2010.  He may want to repost that.

I intended to reserve it. Still do. After all, if they mess with it (by adding more variants) when they get around to it, it can always be redone/added to.

Edit: Just a note. June has 30 days, so the Onslaught would be on the 1st of July, right?

Okay, thanks for clarifying!  And no.  On BattleTech time, June has 31 days.  How you post it on a day that no calendar recognizes is your problem.

More seriously, I didn't even think about it when I did the date.
