Ben's Generics - Team Blue

This one I had a little fun with.  My team blue is obviously in Lyran Guards livery.  Pretty iconic when it comes to paint schemes, next to Sword of Light Red and Marik Militia Purple.

And, the Mechs I chose for the first lance of Team Blue is also iconic Lyran. The rest of the company, however, will be borrowing from the notion put forth in the source books that you can find anything in the LyrAl/Com. 

(Aside - I was wondering what to do with the side-grades of Star League mechs the Shogun and Flea and Guillotine, since they didn't fit the theme I was going for for team Red, which would have had them as upgrades and not main forces.)

Anyway. Group shots and them facing a persistent antagonist in Team Red. ;)

If you can't tell from the group shots, there's something odd about that Banshee. No, that's not two separate models, one modded to be the powerful and popular -3S.

I magnetized on model to allow for the swap.

Commando. Yes, I reposed it so that the laser is in a firing position. That's the fun thing about these plastics - they're easy to mod.

Oddly enough, the only thing I modded about the Zeus were the antennae. My metal one is posed in firing position with both arms raised, so it was kinda refreshing not to have to get creative. When I fill in with lance packs, Team Blue will be getting another Zeus, and I plan to mod that one with the AC firing from the hip.

If you look closely, you can see the top of the pilot's helmet, which is close enough to the glass to be seen through the reflection.

One of the Steiner Archons piloted a Warhammer, leaving an interesting legend just after her death during the Reunification Wars. Putting a RoboTech RPG Tactics Warhammer in Team blue made perfect sense from that.

Nice work on the split halves.  Good clean edge along the white and the blue.  And nice to see a -3S.  Looking forward to seeing the rest! 8) :thumbsup:

Things that I have learnt through clicking too fast on 'Move Done' on MegaMek: Double-check the CF of the building before jumping onto it, check artillery arrival times before standing in the neighbouring hex, and don't run across your own minefield.

"Hmm, I wonder if I can turn this into a MM map."
