It may be a little... limited by its range brackets. The concept is sound, but your choice of weaponry will let faster ASFs get out of the way and heavier ones outrange it and outdamage it. A lot depends if you play with the abstract rules or not.
My suggestion is to up both the firepower and the range: Switch to 8 ERMLs, put 2 at the back and 3 at the wings. Upgrade the Nose weapons to ER PPCs and increase the heatsinks to 15.
That way, even with the hex ranges in effect, faster/lighter craft will want to stay away from the ERPPCs and not try to pepper you with LRMs and such. If its abstract play, even your secondary ERMLs are at the same band as your ER LLs and hit for a lot more too.
Just saw the 8 tons of fuel. A goodly amount for something that doesn't rely on ammo.
