If you are waiting for me to go out of my mind you will have to wait. The exits are not clearly marked and the doors open the wrong way. Oh, and the doors are trapped!

It was a Monday.  Reason for the bummer day?

No. Long story.

I have been having heart problems. Went in on the 19th to have an angiogram, whish was a disaster. For those of you that have never had one they tap into an artery in the leg near the groin or in the wrist of the right hand. They put it in my right leg but goofed up. I was bleeding while they tried to do the angiogram (which they were able to do, two 80% blockages) but stopped before they could put a stint in because of the bleeding. They put stuff in my leg to stop the bleeding but when they were taking me to the recovery room I started bleeding again. For the better part of an hour the nurses were applying rather direct and very hard pressure to stop the bleeding. It was not at all pleasant and I was awake for all of that.

End result I am still black and blue on my right leg from groin to knee. The bruise is literally more than a foot wide that I can see when looking in the mirror.

Had to go back in on the 26th to have another angiogram. This time they used my right wrist. It went quite a lot better. They put the stint in the 80% block in the main blood vessel to the right side of my heart but could not stint the small vessel that is also 80% blocked. It was too small for a stint. Oh, well.

That is why Monday was a bummer of a day. Had the one disaster of a botched angiogram, waiting to go in for the second.

My father in law had a blown attempt in his nick and it sounds like the same story.

I hope today is a far better Monday.

A. Sufficiently large and highly explosive rocket should do for getting your mass high enough to celebrate.

My High Mass was "Welcome to Wal*Mart! Did you find everything? Would you like to apply for a Wal*Mart Card?"

Unfortunately I shop at Walmart.  :(

Although I've never heard of this credit card.

Unfortunately my management is really pushing the card. I have to ask each customer, even if I know that I have asked this particular customer that same question many times already.

There is a lot of that going on. Something to be avoided, but I am REQUIRED to ask.

Probably no more so than if I get blood out of somebody's nose hairs.  :(

No

So what's the incentive.  I've seen where some companies give their employees good money to get people to sign up.
