(Answered) Ability to heat up?
« on: 19 September 2013, 18:49:15 »
I was wondering about a topic...

Is there a way in Alpha Strike for a unit to heat up without firing weapons?  There are a number of units that have the special ability of TSM but have no way to heat up (i.e. no OV value).  Is there a way to simulate the turning on/off of heat sinks in Alpha Strike so these units can use their TSM ability?

This got left out in reorganizing the Overheating section.  Errata incoming.
Any 'mech or aerospace fighter can choose to overheat for 1 point, though it gets no additional damage unless it has an OV1 or greater.  This must still be declared during its attack in the combat phase.
