My Little Protomech

Being a bit silly, I'm working now on a series of protos to be totem units for the Hells Horses.  However, as the project advanced, whimsy took over and I started designing them along the lines of the 3 breeds of Ponies.  So far, I have finalized the Earth Pony, Pegasus and Unicorn will come within a day or so.  And I may do an Alicorn too. Anypony who thinks this is a bit silly, go ahead and say so, because I agree.

Also, this is my first stab at designing protomechs, and I never used them in combat, so am not sure how well these will perform.  I therefore welcome critisism on it.

I'm guessing that the Pegasus Protos will cram in partial wings and as many jump jets as possible.

Of course, the Horses are liable to quietly abandon these designs once it becomes clear that something about exacerbates the mental instability of ProtoMech pilots: pilots of the "RRT" variant Unicorns engaging in unauthorized and decidely unClan-like cosmetic modifications (which are vehemently rejected by pilots of the "APJ" Earth Pony and "RBD" Pegasus Protos as "too girly"). Meanwhile, the "APJ" and "RBD" pilots spend most of their declaring trials against each other; or rather, they do that when the former aren't in the grip of yet another sleep-deprived workaholic bout of mania, and the latter afflicted by recurrent narcolepsy. Pilots of the "FLTS" variant Pegasus turn into incredibly meek individuals after a few weeks; killing people and breaking things is fine, but interpersonal aggression could hurt feelings, which isn't very... nice. The "TWSP" variant Unicorn has a persistent and unfixable glitch in the control software that occasionally makes them and their pilots go haywire. And the leadership of the Horses has collectively vowed to never speak of the "PNKP" variant and its pilots. Those genelines have culled from the breeding programs for all time.
