no base with my mini?

Hi there, yesterday I had a chance to open my first order of iwm Battlemechs, my Vulture didn't have a base to stand on of any sort, is that normal or was it a mistake, if its normal I find it quite odd that I would have to buy bases seperatly

It's normal. But you can make your own bases out of cardboard, plastic, sculpey, or anything else sturdy enough.

*Admiring the clay bases I make in bulk* Hmm? I'm sorry what were you saying?  Oh yes metal bases IWM does do that seperate now from minis and you could get them at IWM, in bulk at Chessex, or just make your own.  Some minis are so huge or balanced enough I don't even deal with bases.

I like the weight of the regular bases, its the only reason I use them.

It's very good for extremely top-heavy minis, like the Behemoth 2 and Sagittaire.
