Skuld Fast Attack Helicopter (RISC PLM + ERLL + AdvTC)

So a slightly shorter ranged Hawk Moth, but with infinite ammo, armor on par with the (better) Yellowjacket, a to-hit modifier that is beyond annoying, and it move 12/18(24) due to a VTOL Jet Booster.

NOTE:
Ignore the Battle Value & Cost as they're both wrong. I had to manually insert the VTOL Jet Booster as my version of Solaris Armor Werks doesn't have that available (meanwhile my version of MegaMekLabs doesn't have RISC Laser Pulse Modules available, so, ugh).

Presumably you're referring to the Yellow Jacket being better than the Hawk Moth rather than this new Skuld, but quite frankly that's wrong.  The Yellow Jacket gets swat out of the sky much too easily despite its armor; it's just too slow.  The Hawk Moth is not fast but unlike the Yellow Jacket its speed is usable, and the Light Gauss Rifle's slight range advantage over the regular gauss rifle is critical in helping avoid AA fire (but go for the Armor Moth if possible, since 2 tons of ammo on a LGR is overkill).

Your version of MegaMekLab must be fairly old; mine's got the RISC pulse module and it's not a bleeding-edge version.

I tend to setup situations where the triangle formation works out. Two very obvious 'Mechs that need to be dealt with are taking up attention, while the YJ (or a pair) come in from an angle past where the target can twist without exposing their back to one of said 'Mechs, or to the 1-2 YJs. As the phrase goes, don't give your enemies problems, give them dilemmas. And being able to holepunch for 15 works great. That and I've deliberately used them as bait before, simply because everyone fears that Gauss rifle. So they'll turn to face it above all else, leaving their backs open. So even if the YJs get, well, swatted down, I'm tearing them up.

One thing I am considering doing is making a VTOL with the Advanced Point Defense + a standard ballistic AMS, put an Angel on it, and maybe a LPPC. Would make for one extremely annoying defender for said snipers. Including this one.

The concept seems good. I am always think that usually most weapon's long range bracket is near useless unless for the unit with C3 network and at least a unit near of the enemy that can survives from the concentrated fire for a while, but adding Pulse Laser Module is an another story - that's why Clans LPL is effectively longer ranged weapon than ER PPC and Clans ER Large Laser, for while LPL has the range of 8/14/20 ER PPC has only 7/14 and ER Large Laser has only 8/15.

The only point is questionable punch for it can only deal the same amount of damage with Hawk Moth, which is obviously inferior Yellow Jacket that doesn't even keep its niche. But you can't have the better weapon with the possibility to add a -2 modifier, and is an energy weapon anyways(although with the chance of malfunction).

If you don't want to add a turret on it, then what about to put the weapon on its rear, or remove VTOL Jet Booster instead? You know, you cannot use flank speed to go backward, only toward.

And your megameklab must be outdated so much. I don't remember the time there wasn't RISC Pulse Laser Module on it and it was always exists if I remember correctly.

Definitely the potential to be a PITA as you could get very stuck without a specialised response.  With enough patience 1 of these could dismantle a whole lance of Atlas 7Ds.  Some LB-X might be able to land a hit, but it's stuff like this that re-enforce my belief that any company level or larger force should have at least 1 ADA capable artillery piece.  Or ASF support.
