(Answered) AR-10 launcher Heat Value
« on: 26 September 2018, 18:30:49 »
Hello all,

I am trying to verify my understanding of the note for the AR-10 launcher on Tactical Operations p. 342 of the Inner Sphere Heavy Weapons and Equipment Table.

The note is "††Weapon heat, damage, range, and ammo weight is based on missile type fired (May fire only standard Killer Whale, White Shark, or Barracuda missiles)."

I believe that note means that a Killer Whale missile launched from an AR-10 would generate 20 heat points when launched.

Is my understanding correct and if not could someone please provide the source and page number showing the correct procedure?

This is in TechManual, not TacOps.  But yes, you are right.

I will be moving this thread to the TM forum shortly.

Hello Xotl,

I will be moving this thread to the TM forum shortly.

My apologies for the delayed response. I did click on notify but I did not receive one and then completely forgot to keep checking after I kept working my way through the books.

Another apology of posting in the wrong section and placing the thread in the appropriate forum.
