Void Signature System on a retrotech chasis possible under RAW?

RAW in this case = Rules as Written.

I havea quick question can retrotech(post 3070 primitive) mechs mount things like the Void signature system? I want to ask due to void signature system showing up as a consturction option in Mega Mek Lab. I am unsure if it's a valid option for them(from a rules level).

Only battlemech can use void signature system. Retrotech mechs could be either battlemech or industrialmech. And retrotech units can use any weapons and equipments eligible for the unit type(the rules explicitly does says so). Thus if the said retrotech mech is battlemech, not industrialmech, it is legal on the official rules.
