Operating mostly within the periphery, the Breadwinners are committed to the destruction of the Marian Hegemony; forces being what they are, this rebel band settles for turning back predations upon unaligned backwater worlds. Often retreating to the Magistracy of Canopus for rest, refit and relief; time on worlds where everything, and ultimately everyone is for sale, leaves the unit itching to dip in and raid the Free Worlds League as it works to subvert literal fascists.
So, that said, I'm looking to downgrade a force to what would be operating in the late Succession Wars/Pre-Clan eras. This is the general shape of what I'm looking for. I suppose Goblins are the obvious choice for replacing out-of-era IFVs, but I'm looking directly for suggestions to give things that final polish, mainly the patina that comes from being a force on the edge and on a budget. Looking to avoid the old stumbled up a Star League cache rationale, where I can. For example, the obvious walkback on the Night Hawk seems to be a Wolfhound. But I'm done fiddling. Looking for inspiration now.
