Not liking the "Oh, whoops, well you get the idea" vibe from the university about it- close enough really shouldn't be something an instructor ever settles for, even for something as obvious as this. But the image is a lot of fun- I wish there was a large version, I'd gladly change my Windows wallpaper.

I think that image was once used in a Photoshop Friday. Still nice though, maybe Catalyst is going a different route for advertisement!  O0 lol

Good idea- more art modified for our game! Edvard Munch's "The Scream" could just be an image of Hanse Davion getting that note from Sun-Tzu!  ;D

What I find most interesting is that they peg it as a Marauder and not an Officer Pod from Robotech.

Pure awesome. Best part is that it got by everyone until it was put in front of the students. Nobody even gave it a second glance up until then.

Indeed.  Does this mean we get the Unseen back since we've won on the identity and association point?

saddly, no, but it does give me another reason to thumb my nose at Harmony Gold. Even though.

I find it hilarious that it made it on to the test without anyone noticing until far too late

The historical parallel makes it even that much funnier.  What 'Mech did Natasha Kerensky drive when she first started?

I have got to get me a copy of that exam paper! Unfortunately, while my youngest is doing that stream of history, he's only in year 11.

I want to know why they think it's a "BattleTech Marauder" and not, say a Zentradi BattlePod

Looks more like a Marauder II with the wings.

the 2nd image, intended to illustrate the 'battlemech', doesn't match the 'shopped image. the one in the 'shopped image is a regular Marauder.

Because either the author or someone else in the office identified it as such, I would guess.
