Not a very inspired name, but I thought it was an interesting variant for the nearly ubiquitous vehicle.

Overview
Developed from the same chassis as the Striker Light Tank,
the Stryker is intended to be more of a traditional light tank,
capable of engaging similar or heavier armored vehicles as
well as light 'Mechs in some situations.   The use of the existing
six-wheeled chassis was chosen to keep a certain level of parts
commonality, easing the costs of supply and maintenance.   This
has made the little armored combat vehicle popular with Davion
armored vehicle units as a general-purpose security vehicle.

Capabilities
While the Stryker is slower than most light combat vehicles, it is
well-armored for such a light vehicle.   With almost 10 tons of
ferro-fibrous armor, the light tank is comparable in terms of
protection with some tanks almost 20 tons heavier.   The six-wheeled
chassis makes it very maneuverable without damaging the infrastructure
with treads.
The Blazefire Systems Large Laser provides the main weapon for the
vehicle.   A solid and well-tested vehicle laser, the weapon has few
quirks or drawbacks besides a relatively large insulative jacket that
precludes a smaller turret profile.   The Blazefire laser is capable of
defeating most comparable vehicles, and with the fusion powerplant
enables a Stryker to remain in the field almost indefinitely.   The paired
Valiant Javelin Streak SRM launchers provide a powerful close-range
punch, capable of finishing a target already damaged by the laser.
Atop the turret is a MainFire Anti-Missile system.   The MainFire was
selected because of its ability to quickly target incoming anti-tank
missile fire in confusing and often constricted urban environments.

Deployment
The Stryker is rapidly finding a home with Davion armored units,
providing a surprising punch for such a light tank.   Because of its
light weight, the vehicle is often found in rapid response units as
well as urban defense units protecting high-value locations.   As a
result, during the FedCom Civil War the little Stryker often found
itself fighting other Stryker-equipped units for control of vital locations.
This combat experience has led to a couple of factory variants in
production.   The first replaces the large laser with a pair of Valiant Ruby
Dart medium pulse lasers and a somewhat cramped space for an
infantry squad.   This allows the Stryker to act as an APC, though it
is further specialized for urban environments due to the short range of
the pulse lasers.   The other variant replaces the large laser with a pair
of Blazefire Longshot ER medium lasers, a Wunderland TAG designator,
and a Wunderland XXXV-1B advanced targeting suite.   This version acts
as a deadly light scout, capable of locating targets and then calling in
artillery.   This scout version also has an extra half-ton or armor added to
the turret to help protect the advanced electronics.
