Hmm...

There are some teams he'd be an upgrade for but I'm not sure any of them would be willing to part with the money to get him unless he surprises us and is willing to take a pay cut to keep playing.

So I'm going to predict retirement while he's still in reasonably good health and no serious takers on the market.

Whatever Virginia wants. She has control of her children's shares, which puts her strongly in the majority.

The Bears will get better, unfortunately it'll most likely be a repeat of how the Blackhawks got better.
Meaning, like Dollar Bill, Virginia is going to have to die before they do get better.

Any guesses on where Romo's going?
Houston, that's why Osweiler was traded. Broncos can't afford to get Romo in a trade. As for the Broncos, they have four glaring holes (RT, LT, OG, NT) entering FA and have only filled one (OG) so far.

There's some good tackles in the draft.  I imagine they'l get at least one there.

I'm surprised after the flurry of yesterday that this morning has been so quiet.

Also, I hope the 49ers sign Jay Cutler. They will then have all three of the Bears starting QBs from last year.

The Browns are interested in Geno Smith.

At this point, my theory is that they intend to form a Voltron of awful QBs in the hopes that this conglomerate ends up being better than teh sum of its parts.

Well, it's spring training so there's a whole mess of folks from each farm system there from what I understand.

On that note, I hope da Bears draft Deshaun Watson, he's a winner.

Well, look where drafting good ones got them. I think Frankenquarterbacks are the only thing the NFL will let them have before long.

And Seattle has signed Lacy.

That could prove to be an interesting move.

Pete's always willing to see if good players have anything left in them.....although my mother has never forgiven him for letting Terrell Owens have #10.

It more makes me wonder if they were trying to undo their last deal with GB but couldn't get it done so had to settle for second best.

He's an overweight, injury-prone back that will end up not contributing much. Hope Rawls can stay healthy.

Which is part of the trouble with Rawls, he is pretty injury prone himself.  Yeah I know part of that is the offensive line hasn't been great for the past couple of years and it's hard to stay healthy under those conditions but Rawls seems particularly injury prone.

Oh lord... The Bears are hopeless!  :'(

Last year the Bears QBs were Cutler, Hoyer and Barkley. They have been replaced byt he likes of Glennon, Shaw and Mark "Buttfumble" "Dirty" Sanchez. Ugh. Can it get any worse?  [tickedoff]

Perhaps it's the Bears' way of inspiring their OL to protect Glennon to their utmost.

Technically correct. The Bears could win fewer than 3 games this season.

And Vegas gets the Raiders in 2018.  I might have to cheer for them.

On the plus side, maybe instead of different food vendors they'll just have a giant buffet.  ^-^
